Sometimes I wonder why we call them “protective”. My hair responds poorly to braids, sew ins, etc.
@asantewaakissi2650Күн бұрын
I’ve never fully understood it. I have friends with natural hair, but I’ve rarely seen their hair out! If it always has to be “protected,” then what’s the point? Then it means the hair is fragile isn’t it?? They’ll wash it, get it braided back, and then keep it under wigs for the entire month-repeating the cycle all year long. Others switch it up with different braids like cornrows, box braids etc! I had two friends who were on my neck when I got a relaxer! They said I didn’t know how to love my hair and I should be patient and it’s in my head and I’m oppressed and a lot of nonsense…guess what they went and locked their hair!! They got the sister locs because oh wait they couldn’t handle their natural hair. 😂😂!!! Oh really???? I just can’t do braids all the damn time. I want to let my hair breathe! What’s the point of having beautiful hair if you can’t wear it out? 🥴!!!!!!!!! Yes some people have been able to get their 4c natural hair to a point where it can stay out and they look great, and their hair looks amazing but for most of us with the 4C texture that shrinks and becomes like a rock after you take out your braids and then you have to use 56 products, we are tired!

Have you thought about incorporating bond repair or protein treatments into your routine?

Your dog is adorable. Sorry you had that experience. I guess chemicals weaken the hair. Thanks for being so honest for our benefit. Did you know all races and hair textures are texturizing our hair lol

Heyyy Bee. I saw an old video of you texturizing your hair( which was amazing btw), and I know this video caption says your hair is relaxed and I just wanted to know what made you change your mind about texturizing? :)

Just found your channel! I love your results. Thank you for sharing. How soon after your initial application did you apply the texturizer again? I’m going to look through your videos to try to find the answer myself but I figured I’d ask anyway since I’m already here. Thank you!🙏🏾

You stopped using the salycilic acid? Why?

I didn’t stop, I just cut back on the usage. Since my texture has improved 100% I don’t need to use it as often. Now I can use it once a week just to maintain

You exfoliated twice a day, everyday for four months? Get outta here! That's the craziest statement on KZbin. Guys, NEVER use BHAs more than twice a WEEK. Your skin will look like a peeled carrot.
@beesadditytv3 ай бұрын
I sure did and 100% do not recommend. Idk how my skin didn’t fall off. Of course this was way before I did my research and when to esthetician school. But what I can say is that goes to show how sensitive yet effective this product really is.
@dlasis3 ай бұрын
@@beesadditytv awesome. You should add a closed caption and warn people NOT to exfoliate everyday.
