I have lived in Dublin, Waterford, Derry, Manchester and Cardiff. Currently living in Manchester. Ireland overall is a much more expensive country, the UK is cheaper. There’s no difference in the weather, both are cold and miserable 😂 but it does rain more in Ireland. In the south of England people can be very rude, However, in the north people are lovely and I think sometimes no we than the Irish. There’s more funny banter that happens in Ireland. I have to choice the uk as I think it’s a better version of Ireland with more opportunities. However, that’s not saying that it’s more beautiful as some of the scenic routes in Ireland or amazing and the uk couldn’t get close to that. But there’s more to do in uk and cheaper. Yes London is crazy expensive but Dublin is also crazy expensive.

I'm Irish and have lived in both. Overall I prefer Ireland, but I could be somewhat biased. In my opinion, the UK is better for eating out, food seems to be better quality and cheaper, but wages are higher in Ireland

@@edmondjohnson7926 Hi,it’s not a clear answer one size fits all answer ,a lot of factors to consider,are you coming with kids for example,are you single or married,you need to write all these down and weigh your options, for example Ireland currently has a housing crisis , if you come it may be challenging to find a place to rent which can make life hard with kids
