As much as we'd love to jerk each other off and say they the Sedins we're the next thing since sliced bread. Don;t ever forget that when Playoffs starts, it's a whole new beast. The Twins were fantastic to watch, year after year Art Ross Trophies and so on. But no matter what, if you were a Canuck fan it was out 2nd line (center) Kesler that produced in the playoffs. Other GM's (head coaches) seemed to know in playoffs to consistently keep the Twins away from the scoring sheet. It's no fault of their own but I think it's from the opposition management the knew how Canadian hockety was fought in those trecnches. I was there and lived every window smash after we lost game 7 in the Boston series. You can't build your playoff team witrh Sweeds, not UNLESS you have a back end with SMASH Canadians. Bieksa was only a front man, his goal to push them off was evenly to his surprise a fluke. Our back end in those playoffs were in & out like a "prom qween" a dime a dozen. Look a every year, and look at how we as fans had to accept who our #1 defenceman was. If you wanna go Goaltending, Lue was fine, came off of Goal medal, he was off putting yes but he was a stud. We had 4 good lines but in playoffs, it's then put to two good lines. Kess was a BEAST, we're talking like Face offs penalty kills power play. Dude was so powerfull we could subject him to the 2nd line but was #1 in PK with faceoffs at around 90%. All in all, if you gunna be a betting person, having Sweeds as your 1 and as good as the Sedins were, the game just will push them away in the long rounds.

Watching this is such a stark contrast to today's chip and chase boredom style. I miss AV as a coach.

That goal 3rd goal for Daniel against Colorado, what a sick shot and what a sick feed from his brother who was being mugged at the time, craziness.

There are some beautiful passes in this video, but honestly I think the best was by Byron Bix at 3:54. And yes, I know what I just said.
