Comparing the final season of Arcane to the final season of Game of Thrones is beyond disrespectful and it's more indicative of people's inability to piece information that the show provides together, rather than a failing on the writing itself. A KZbinr went out of his way to make an hour long video citing what he believes are everything he thought was terribly written and I went out of my way to prove that the answers to his questions are within the show itself, and prove that he did piss poor research. As a result, being able to find counter-arguments to his nitpicks has made me realize that Arcane season 2, even though it's flawed and the finale somewhat disappointed me, is still a tightly knit story. It wasn't fleshed out enough and plot threads zoom by at breakneck speed.

Tapping into the Arcane is *literally* what causes the downfalls of nations and civilizations in Runeterra. Shurima? Ascension/Sun Disc magic gone wrong. Blessed Isles? Viego corrupted them trying to misuse the magic waters to revive his dead slave-wife. Ionia? The First Lands are inherently the strongest spiritual points of the mortal realm, save Targon, constant wars being fought akin to Jerusalem. Arcane is a retelling of the Zaun/Piltover split and retelling how hextech was discovered/invented/purposed.

You're one of the few who recognize and respect League as a game btw. People always have these vendetta about League without any reason. I don't even understand why they would say they "hate" the game despite the fact that they have not played it, will never play it or moba isn't even their genre. But it's always "League sucks haha". I guess they're part of other gaming community that died out and are confused why League still exists.

Season 1 was something special. So far season 2 has been very mid in comparison.

Great video on Arcane! Just one small correction, the mage didn't change the environment around Jayce and his mom, he teleported them away from the snowy mountain (blizzard) to a safer location (grass, flowers, and sunshine). ^_^

This one of those shows that gets better the more you rewatch it. On my 6th rewatch of the new episodes already and im still picking up on new things. There’s not a single detail that is unimportant or added for no reason. Every line is carefully considered, and ties into several parts of the story. Things that didnt make sense through my first or second watch made sense once you payed attention to the details.

imo season 2 so far has been to fast paced and empty, yes the fight scenes are good but almost every convo feels empty and makes the kiss between vi and caitlin very underwhelming. im hoping they re just tryna fit everything in for now, and will be sick in act 2.
