We have this booked for Oct half term, we did the London version and my son loved it and was desperate to go back. Was expecting it to be identical but watching this there is actually a fair few differences, so that will be nice to see something a bit different! X

I was there that day, the food was extortionate but then that's exactly what you expect at Alton Towers these days. That aside I thought the entertainment on the day was absolutely fantastic and I really enjoyed it. I'm even on your video jiggling away 😂

I love how you presented this. Your honest opinion, not trying to win favour with Merlin. But also not sensationalising it for KZbin. Just a well rounded opinion. Did you end up doing any rides? I can't imagine going to AT without at least sneaking one or two rides in. I probably don't get there as much as you guys though.

We really loved it too - did you get the free access to the new adventure golf as well? (We really enjoyed that after our first day in the theme park). Program 2 launches you backwards from the top of the lift (backdown towards the station) to launch building where you are then launched forward back to the lift but this time you go over the top of the lift forwards round to the launch building where you get a running launch back to the station break run.

I've added Drayton Manor to the bucket list. Ollie was excited for "Gold Rush" and I can totally see him vlogging Rollercoasters and theme parks when he's older. A 4d Looney Tunes show with roadrunner and wile coyote, that's my childhood right there.

Ah I remember coming here as a kid. I'm not from the UK so Cadbury used to be considered a top tier Chocolate bar in comparison to the rest. Since coming here, I've always associated Cadbury with quality, especially since it was a UK brand. It's just so disappointing to see what Kraft is doing to this well respected brand. Cadbury seemed to be so well engrained in UK culture. Their chocolates were a staple for every holiday in the UK. Now it feels like they're destroying traditions which took them decades to establish. I was always excited about Cadbury world and that it was a fantastic chocolate filled experience, we finally went a few years ago and was slightly let down with our visit. It was an ok day but just felt it was a very short day there.

Looks absolutely dire. I went about 7 years ago and even then it was awful and it looks even worse now. They need a serious revamp, give more chocolate for the entry fee and the shop needs to be cheaper. I remember when you could buy a wispa for 40p in there.

What age range would you say this is suitable for? Looking for things for my 5 & 9 year old to do in blackpool next week

It really isn't worth going to. You want it to be like Wonka world but all it is, is a museum to Cadbury. Very boring experience and yes they did used to do spicy melted chocolate samples.

I remember spicy Aztek chocolate from a school trip about (cough cough!) 25 years ago... I then went home and tried to make Chilli hot chocolate afterwards. It was nice to see the Aztek bit is still there though as that's the main thing I remember. Thank you for the nostalgic video.
