I apparently have the purple stripe MK 3 Simul-class With reverb and graphic that I bought new in 1986. All this time I never knew there were different stripes meaning different aggression characteristics to these amps. Mine has always been good. I never used it playing out in clubs loud-only in a church band in the 80’s/90’s. Was great. I like the Holdsworth type mids sound it has plus being overall warmer sounding. I like the tone you got out of this amp. I have Vintage 30’s in a 4x12. I’ll have to once again try the EQ set like the bottom Mk 3 in this video. The thick metal sound you got out of this amp in this video is what I’m wanting out of mine. Wish I knew how you set the controls in this video.

It’s 60w. I had 5 or 6 🙄 blue stripes. They sound little different especially in feelings. But anyway, blue is one of the greatest amp

Привет, нет, записано без аттенюатора, но на верху стоит аттенюатор Rivera, он просто мега крутой, очень редкий. Сейчас висит на Avito один, крайне его рекомендую (у меня были практически все аттенюаторы)!!!

You can technically also do pinch harmonics with your nails, i found this out when mine broke and i had no other option lol You can try using your nail to pick the string and then while youre picking the string try touching your fingertips on the strings at the same time. It makes a really sweet sound 😊

Recorded with your iPhone, they sound identical. You should really mic up the cab and record that. 800s are ballsier than JMPs.

I'd like to represent the raw sound, like we can hear in the room. Imho Iphone it's do better then professional record. Yep the 800s the ballsier, but JMP is much sonical, they both greate.

You need to get more of a chug going with the power chords throughout the verses, sounds/looks like you’re just hitting one note - which sounds really thin
