Good guide for those of us who haven't played in a long while........ I don't know but it seems like Madden is trying to be all things to all people and not really succeeding. The salaries page and cap is nice and seems like something good to manage but the things like the story lines are really childlike. I'm sure years ago there were better OC and DC options and things so in some ways it seems like a lot of polish and presentation but not really the depth like they have in Football manager games which I'd like. I'm not really bothered about the price of hotdogs but wouldn't it be great to be able to sign a retired player for OC and train him up or make a real difference with schemes and scheme fits like in the real game. They still have the same old terrible faces for the player creator or editing the draft classes, with AI these days they could in 5 minutes create a million randomized realistic early 20s faces of all shapes and sizes. Some important things seem to be really overlooked while lots of effort has gone into some really mundane things like the bland and repetitive draft presentation thingy?!?!?!?!?

has there been changes since last gameplay sliders video with the various patches since then? If so we getting updated video on sliders?

Quick question. Can you tell me why they would remove an active player from Madden? I played 25 a couple months ago with a friend on his system and chase Lucas was an active corner back on 49ers. I bought the game yesterday and now he's not even on the game.🙄🤔 When I Googled it it says he is unavailable on Madden?

You gotta take throw ball away off you just need to switch Boyd’s passer type to ideal passer this will limit those bad reads( more efficient passing) compared to aggressive which is not bad it just makes him takes more forced passes

Man I had my first proper Madden 25 draft yesterday. I tried so hard, but it was such a disaster that my team's morale dropped in response. Absolutely tragic.

can i ask why you leave kicking and punting sliders alone? maybe it's just me but it feels like they nail everything in the games i watch and it feels like it creates less stakes and more boring games, thanks for the sliders again nonetheless!

14:47 only reason i say that to use oc and dc pbs and schemes is cause it simulates real life. i get what u saying tho. its just some i use for a challenge. cause in cpu play you more of a gm than a coach cause u cant call actual plays. u can sorta get more runs or passes but thats in the gameplan. so technically you a head coach that relies on your oc and dc to call plays. u can manipulate it some. so to me when u switch pbs its like switching coaches. schemes u can switch those up. but its just how i like to do. i understand what u saying tho too. cause i play in 32 man franchises. and i deep dive into the franchise on a whole nother level. it’s just some i use when playing against the cpu. i love your content either way

Don’t like the shade thrown to the adjust lineup screen!! Being able to see the layout of your squad, easily access the positions, and visualize the way a player might play more than one position on defense is very good. Only depth chart screen I use really. Not to mention you can see the players that play and don’t play based on how many slots are filled and by who.

I got Cj stroud up to a 98 overall superstar x just by doing option mini game earning gold every time 55k points I can’t do that target passing it’s a waste of time just run option

The Bucs got the number 1 pick 2 years in a row on my franchise they took Travis hunter number 1 this year now they are looking at Nico from Tennessee to replace baker but it’s crazy they will have two franchise game changers . I’m trying to trade up for a first round because I traded mine for Kenny smith of the packers and it was well worth it I have the best front 4 in nfl and also linebackers I got Bobby okreke from giants for Jalen pitre since contract was coming up but also got two 3rd rounders and my offensive line is just improving every year they are all young except Larry tunsil also might trade tank dell for a first rounder since I have nico and diggs! So many desecions but Cj around is up to 98 overall now from player development and winning mvp my first year

Not sure why everyone hates on madden 25 I have been having non stop fun in franchise . NCAA 25 got stale after a few seasons because scouting and player development sucks its bare bones for sure . But I think madden is at least trying to improve game . If we can replace Kate Scott with Tony romo or have different networks for each game and player highlights at halftime would make game even better

PS2 Madden was so great, it had all this and more. The cut scenes are dumb. On PS2, every player had a morale and it was pretty self-explanatory. Madden puts so much effort into accomplishing nothing.

I have a related issue. So it’s been 15 years since I owned a console. I played back in 08 and earlier. I have a pS5. I got back into it this year. I have M24 with the custom shared draft class of 24 added in. And played a franchise season with the updated trades and rookies. I use the auto generated as I was learning the new play. But built my own class of 25/26 of prospects and just finished. I’m currently in post season of the first year of franchise. Heading to the draft which I currently have the rookies (draft class 24). I’m nervous with all the work I did to lose it. Want to know should I export prior to draft I’m coming up to? Keep the file and make adjustments as the real draft is 5 months away. The goal was to add on to the existing file used with updated rosters I used. Any help would be awesome on this. Like your breakdowns on game play and different aspects effectiveness.
