Great thank you for this amazing plug-ins. I'd been always looking for the Sequencer or the Arpeggiator plug-ins like this. Thank you!

Hi, interesting VST. I get it working triggered by my LPK25 arpeggiator, but I can't get it synced with the Ableton clock. Other sequencer VSTs (HY, B-Step) do. What might be the reason?

Hi, it is designed to sync fully with DAW, it doesn't have its own clock. But it must be properly connected, which may be the reason. Chrysalid needs MIDI input (let's say the keyboard) and this is transformed to MIDI output. This output must be send to VST synth, because Chrysalid doesn't produce any sound itself. For example, let's say Chrysalid has MIDI output channel set to 3, and you must have VST synth which has MIDI input channel set to 3. Hope this helps to get it working.

@@interstellarsequence5859 The issue is in the first part of your answer. The plugin will only give MIDI output to the VST synth (and create sound in the synth) when I keep a key pressed on my MIDI-keyboard (which feels silly). The other sequencers I mentioned respond to the play button of Ableton 10 and work fine, so I think my connecting is OK.

@@fritsvanzanten3573 I see. Quick answer is Chrysalid doesn't support internal clock mode. It is a matter of how you want to use the plugin. VST sequencers (and beat machines for example) often support both options - internal clock and midi input (the host mode). And I always turn on the host mode, because that's the way I want to use it, to have full control through MIDI. Take a look for example at Arturia ARP 2600 - you have the keyboard, the sequencer and sound generation part. It's the exact way how I use my sequencer, connected via MIDI channels. I didn't spent time on internal clock mode because I don't use it. I guess you need it in Ableton in Session view (the one i don't use). It may be an option for future improvements, but I can't promise when I get to it.

@@interstellarsequence5859 OK, Thx. Now I know I was chasing something that wasn't there (trying multiple DAWs) ;-) I do like the functionality (and I'm interested in the Berlin school) but still don't understand how you use it (my fault, I apparently lack the knowledge). Maybe you could do a video not demoing the functionality, but how you got it to work. When I use the arpeggiator from my MIDI-keyboard (LPK25), I believe it interferes with your VST. But I would fully understand you have better ways to spend your time ;-) Anyway, I wanted to use a sequencer to experiment with the sounds of the synth, without using the same bars from a piano-roll over and over again, so some randomness would be welcome, and your VST promised me that. By now I found some alternatives that do the job (B-step, HY-SEQ, Full Bucket sequencair)(weirdly enough and contrary to many a synth type, these were hard to find). Kind regards.

@@interstellarsequence5859 OK, by now I figured out what it does and what it doesn't. There apparently are multiple ways sequencers are used in ;-) Thx!

Very cool tool, great job. Btw, using this arp in FL Studio 20.7 causes a loud buzzing noise, to solve this: The plugin wrapper, [Processing], check 'Use fixed size buffer'

While I appreciate you wanting to drive traffic to your cool music, there is no obvious link on your bandcamp page to actually download this. Pretty hard to get your work out there for others to try if no one can actually find it.

@@interstellarsequence5859 : I'm referring to the plugin. There is no obvious link on your bandcamp page to download the plugin. There's a nice picture of the pluging - which when clicked on opens up a larger picture; there is a big triangle play button - which when clicked on plays your music; links for "buy digital album", "buy track", "send as gift", lots of other links that go in circles to your other bandcamp or social media pages - there is no link to download the VSti. . Again - while I appreciate any musician wanting to promote themselves (I'm a musician myself), I can't seem to actually download this anywhere on the page you linked to. Perhaps putting in on one of the various free hosting services or submitting it to VST4Free might be a better solution. Seems lie a useful tool.

@@interstellarsequence5859 : ah - I see. It's "free" with the purchase of your album. Got it. Yes, I suppose KVR is a better venue for that sort of thing. Well, nice talking to you and good luck with your future projects! And thanks for clarifying how the bandcamp deal works.
