Youve inspired me to keep learning!! I used to be into guitar, and i gave up after not finding much success as far as skill goes. I just saw your video from about 2 years ago, talking about your 1 year progression. I realized,if i put in the work, ill get the results. Thanks for inspiring me to pick it up again.❤

hey there, what guitar would you suggest to a beginner? your videos keep me going every day
@HattyAnders2 күн бұрын
Thank you that means a lot! Regarding guitars there's a few things you should consider - I'll probably do a full vid on it but briefly these are the different things: Price - dont buy a super expensive one if youre not 100% sure you will stick with it Style - different guitars suit different styles of playing (eg dreadnoughts are generally good for strumming and smaller guitars perhaps with cutaways can be best for fingerstyle) And lastly - what guitar will actually make you excited to play? If you genuinely love your guitar you will be far more motivated to practice. Hope this helps ❤️ (You can check some of my reviews on more budget beginner guitars in my reviews playlist if you would like some more info) 😀

My current song ends with four consecutive finger rolls. Here are the details: 1. **Em Chord** - Strings: 6, 5 (thumb), 4 (index), 3 (middle). 2. **3rd Fret on the 6th String** - Strings: 6 (thumb), 4 (thumb), 3 (index), 2 (middle). 3. **C Chord** - Strings: 5, 4 (thumb), 3 (index), 2 (middle). 4. **D Chord with Pinky on the 3rd Fret of the 1st String** - Strings: 4 (thumb), pause, 3 (thumb), 2 (index), 1 (middle). - Lift the pinky and play the 1st string again with the middle finger. This sequence repeats twice, but the ending of the fourth part is different: - **D Chord** - Strings: 4 (thumb), pause, 3 (thumb), 2 (index), 1, 1 (middle, middle). - For the second "1," place the pinky on the 3rd fret of the 1st string. I've been struggling with this reversed sequence.

*I've been a muppet again and the audio track is only in one channel (I keep forgetting to double it up) 🤦♀. I will try my very best to get it right on the next video... for now it's probably best to listen without headphones 😂. --------------------------------------------------------------------- So hopefully by now you are a PRO Finger Roller, an honour only a few can dream of... However, perhaps there are still other skills you are yet to conquer - something such as HARMONICS? Worry not my friend, this next video should do the trick: 👇👇 kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIaagJmenNidoLcsi=Ap6RdtqiwtdwJRmb 😉

Beautifully played! I just picked up an acoustic guitar, but I forgot that it hurts so much in the beginning. Any tips?
@HattyAnders12 күн бұрын
Unfortunately there's not much that can be done about the classic finger blisters. Other than supergluing the ends of your fingers (which didn't prove to be very successful 😂) all i would recommend is to take it slow - just little by little. What you could try (if it's simply pain from strings that youre feeling) is splitting up your practice into 10min blocks. Maybe 10 in the morning, 10 in the evening etc. This will give your hands enough time to recover and through the repeated exposure they should toughen up pretty quickly 👌

Love your playing! So inspiring! Do you come up with these arrangements or how do you learn the songs? Is there somewhere you go for tabs?
@HattyAnders27 күн бұрын
I did a basic version of this early on, from a tutorial. This one is my own version. Sometimes with songs I do look up the basic tabs and then make my own arrangements around them 😃
