For me, This is one of the most memorable stories from the Nightfall series. A story I have never heard of before. And have never heard of anybody else adapting said story. What I like most is how Ludcraft’s hunger turned out to be greater than the evil man can handle. It’s like one of those “I’m not trapped in here with you. Your trapped with me” kinda stories. More or less.

thanks. I absolutely love these old radio shows. everything from the 30-80s even today occasionally CBC has radio plays. I feel like it excited our imaginations with out the labor of reading. It's a whole different experience from audio books as well. The actors and sound effects add to something.

Would these shows be good to hear in a car? I ask because I think FM radio is still around only because people want to listen to something while driving on the roads to and from work everyday.

@@josephcalabrese6337 hmm personally in a car I like audio books/podcasts more as the plays require a lot of attention sometimes and also I feel like the setting you are in will effect how immersed you get in the story. In my opinion night time at home in the dark is best for these stories.

@@collinmc90 I concur. I first learned of NightFall's existence via a game Mod for Fallout 4 on Xbox. I would either be building up my settlements or exploring the commonwealth while listening to audio horror drama's from decades past. Totally fits the mood.

Love these ! Nightfall was imo the best radio show ever i just wish there were more shows made ! Can only find around 70 and many of those are hard to understand...thanks for the uploads. Much appreciated

Any folks at there with a good ear will recognize the Psychiatrist in this episode as Chris Wiggins, who was very well known for his brilliant portrayal of Jack Marshak in Friday the 13th: The Series....a show which also was produced in Canada!

All kinds of happenings in this story. From a Man that studied Books on the Occult, that learned "The finer arts" of Transcendental Meditation, and Astral Projection, as well as the power of Telekinesis, which enabled Mr. Charles Willoughby to kill at least Two People, at least at first. Then, Mr. Willoughby dies of a Heart Attack, which left his soul free to possess whatever victim that he wanted to! Walter ends up being the unfortunate victim, and ends up being possessed by the very soul of Mr. Willoughby. Then.....the real fun is all set to begin!
