Unsure but sounds like at some point Stephens guitar became out of tune which prompted Chinos reaction. Not agreeing with Chinos reaction but as a vocalist, an out of tune guitar can throw me off and is just honestly annoying.

After the show stephan cracked up and started filming chino cause chino was butt hurt and then chino broke Stephens camera and got stephan mad so they both started fighting

Very unprofessional. This is why Deftones sucks, Chino is always drunk as fuck. Can hear it in his voice.

My take on what happened: Steph was fucked up and didn't even realize he was playing a shitty out of tune guitar. Chino just kicked it and probably said to him it sounds like ass. I have been in bands with dudes like that. Playing shitty chords on out of tune guitars and it's irritating as fuck. No biggie, pay the fuck attention next time dude!

He didnt kick him..Chino prolly wanted to vent bis anger because he was about to make a mistake...so he pretended to kick him for some reason. Call me deaf but as I heard it Stephen messed up a little and was out of tune slightly which could have irritated Chino to the point he couldnt focus on his singing. Chino didnt touch Stephs guitar nor the cable for you could hear noise when he smashed it on the stage floor. After that Chino forgot his lyrics because now all the focus was gone. I could imagine he felt sorry for what happened therefore he goes near Steph and his amp when he comes back and there knees down. But who knows

Chinos vocals in this video really make me realize how bad he’s treated them over the years with improper scream technique, alcohol, etc. Really sad to see actually
