I feel really bad for Eddie in this movie it just seems like he wants to be left alone and the symbiote's doing anything BUT leaving him alone, like a toxic friend that won't stop being needy, except unlike a toxic friend it's almost taking control of your whole body and mind and difficult to remove The end of the first movie it seems like it's trying to be understanding of Eddie and earthly rules and work together but here it just really turns into an unlikeable jackass until they need to come together at the end to kill Carnage, who probably wouldn't have existed at all if the symbiote hadn't lost it.
