With all the technology available today even mediocre singers can sound good, but this is just pure class. I don’t think the average person can truly appreciate how good they are.

2022 and still listening. It takes so much talent to produce this. An expat living in South Florida long removed from Essex. I vaguely remember listening to them on BBC 2.

If anyone has this entire concert, I would pay for materials, services, shipping, etc. I watched this on WVIZ and have looked everywhere for it with no success. Thanks in advance.

By far, my favorite line-up of the King's Singers. Countertenors Jeremy Jackman and Alastair Hume, tenor Bill Ives, baritones Tony Holt and Simon Carrington, and bass Brian Kay. I was lucky enough to record this 1982 broadcast and have converted it to digital for my enjoyment. I watch/play the program every year at Christmas time. I attended a concert they gave a few years later. Colin Mason was a good replacement for Brian Kay. Bob Chilcott was not even close to matching Bill Ives' melodic timbre. Still, one of my favorite vocal groups.
