16:50 Is what you are probably here for. Imagine doing it with CSX 1976 and NS 8098 both blowing their horns! This is a very heartwarming part of the Conrail/C&O Santa Train CSAO does have trackage rights so it’s not entirely possible. :)

Great catch! Just like the original Conrail Santa Train! This heartwarming escort is like the climatic finale of the event. This brings back memories when I used to watch the older fire truck escorts of the Conrail Santa train. Its like a Christmas parade but the train is the giant float. I am making a tribute video for the original Conrail Santa Train (1986-2018) kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpe4aZuejKeda8ksi=oCUsa3vw8IJYjbPj

Hell if you think that is flying low to the ground then you would have a heart attack if you came to my house they fly 20 feet in the damn air and then they’re on their backs and flipping all around it’s scary until you realize that they’re only practicing But it’s scary cause they could still crash

Love the opening of this video: the Southwest has tumbleweeds; we in the Northeast have huge swirls of Autumnal leaves. (BTW: do you have a count of just *how* many PL42ACs NJT has? In all my travels-almost exclusively on the Jersey Coast line…I'm in Asbury Park)-I see one rarely enough to think there's *only* one.

NJT has 33 PL42AC's, 4000-4032. They are mainly used on the Hoboken Division

Could be, but I'm guessing the main cause is repeated expansion and contraction of the steel due to temperature extremes over the years, leading to permanent deformation. The rails on this section of track haven't been replaced in many years, so exposure to the elements have likely caused significant deterioration.

Great video of an awesome chase! Always wondered this: Does the rocking of the cars over by monmouth battlefield park ever intimidate you? 😅 I'm sure it looks worse on camera, but oh man they looked like they could've tipped if the engineer was going any faster!

Cool catch on a long day. Watched the whole thing. especially liked the drone and the long telephoto shot at the end. Was the Helmetta SA-03 w/operation lifesaver but I didn't see the cascade centerbeam from JB-02 in it. Were those empties from Tulnoy in Dayton?

I am glad CMSL has business and is still here after all these years. But I am also a little sad that Conrail no longer goes to the end of the Beesley Point Secondary like when I was younger and you could see coal and oil trains. It was very cool to see a long string of coal hoppers going thru Audubon and Barrington with a bunch of six axles on the point.
