An annual wellness visit is NOT an annual physical! Patients should not have to request tests for each body part. Contact CMS and your representatives! They know how important a basic annual physical is to longevity. Why have seniors and their agents tolerated loss of this basic coverage?

I have a medigap Plan N policy and am wondering if it will pay (up to the $50,000 max) for services provided onboard a cruise ship in international waters. (I see it will in U.S. waters but I haven't been able to find out anything to clarify if they would cover emergencies like in the mid-Atlantic or mid-Pacific.)

I am grateful to say that I am a born again Christian and have been since I was 19....... I also have to say that it is a miracle to think that the people in this video survived the accident that happened to them! Well then all of a sudden someone you don’t even know comes forward and says you know what I know he’s committed the crime he’s committed and he deserves to go to jail but I really don’t want to see him go to prison so I’ll just go to prison for him so he can go free! So if you accepted that offer you’d be free to leave the courtroom but if you didn’t well you’d be crazy and go to prison yourself! Well that’s exactly how it was 2,000 years ago! He is God in human flesh and he came to this earth lived a perfect sinless life and even though he knew that we had sinned and because of our sins deserved to die miserably but he said no I don’t want to see them suffer so I will go and take their punishment for them! Even though he did absolutely nothing wrong still he chose to take the punishment for our sins so we can be set free from the power bondages and consequences of our disobedience to God! Romans 5:8 says For God commends his love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us! 1 John 2:2 says he was made to be the propitiation for our sins! And not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world! 2 Corinthians 5:21 He who knew no sin became Sin for us that we would be made his righteousness! The truth is if you had to get to Heaven by your own effort then you cannot do it! Because Romans 3:10 says there is not one that does good! No Not One! Romans 3:23 says For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! Romans 6:23 says For the wages of sin is death! But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord! But the good news is Romans 10:9 If we confess with our mouth and believes in our hearts that Christ died for our sins then was raised from the dead we will be saved! V 10 For it’s with the heart we believe and it’s with the mouth confession is made unto salvation! God gave us 10 commandments to follow and we’ve broken every one of them! And because God is a good God he cannot allow our disobedience to him to go unpunished! Well then like I just mentioned above his son Jesus stepped forward and said no I don’t want to see them punished so I will take their punishment for them! And also like I said he died a terrible substitute criminal’s death for us on a cross so now all we have to do is accept that payment for our sins and we can escape the terrible wrath of God that is to fall on them who do not accept this atonement that was sacrificed for our sins! Praise the lord Romans 10:13 says Whoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved! And 1 Peter 1:4 you’re an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you! Christ clearly said in John 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father but through me! Acts 4:12 clearly states that there is no other name given unto Heaven or earth by which we must be saved as there is salvation in no other! I just LOVE how the Government thinks that this is actually a clear explanation of Medicare. I have never been so confused by an explanation in my life. I have an MBA and have worked in industry for 35 years, very successfully - this completely confuses me. My private insurance plan has done a much better job and helping understand what I need to do, why I should, and what may affect me decisions. Ron Reagan used to make a joke of saying, with great sarcasm, "We're from the Government, and we're here to help." It's funny, except it's not.

It seems there are a lot of - Fly By Night - scam companies calling people to try to get them signed up for a Medicare Advantage Plan. I get about 6 calls a day. It's always a friendly female voice - until they transfer you, then it's some guy from Bombay! This really irks me to no end. Part of my job is Cyber Security so I detest anyone who tries to rip other people off. The callers phone number has the same area code as mine so you might think it's someone you know, but it's not. I try to get them to stop but they never do. Our government should be doing all they can to STOP these calls in the first place. I'm smart enough to not get ripped off, but it is a total nuisance and just puts me in a bad mood. But I don't doubt there are people getting seriously ripped off. This has to STOP!

I get about 5 or 6 Spam Calls a day trying to get me signed up for Medicare benefit program - but I'm already signed up. It's extremely disruptive because they call my work cell phone. Sometimes I'm on important business calls or other times it wakes me up in the morning. I've tried to be nice and also sometimes being very nasty, but they keep calling, it is likely a different person calling. Many times someone from India you can easily tell by the accent. I usually Block the number but I've blocked over 200 numbers so far so that doesn't help. OH here's one calling right now. I could not finish typing this post even without being interrupted!! What I do now is I pick up on the call but I don't say anything, they usually hang up in 5 to 10 seconds, but sometimes it's over a minute. I'm pretty sure they use fake numbers. Our government needs to make it illegal for businesses to "fake" or "spoof" numbers. I work in High Tech in Email Administration so I see all kinds of spam and scams. But these phone scams are hard to block because I think they are able to do what we call "spoofing" the number they call from. I worry I may block a number from a legitimate colleague. They use numbers from the same "area code" as my number to further try to fool you!

I am diabetic. My mom had glaucoma. Part D refused to pay for the eye drop for glaucoma $ dried eyes. The agent told me medicare part B wal cover the medication. However when i picked up the drop, i have to pay full price. Please advise. Thank you.

I am upset that once we are on Medicare that it does not cover allow us to have a annual check up with our OBGYN. It's now stated we can only have the exam once every two years. Not fair! Here's the kicker, I went to my OBGYN after the 2 years wait and because the right coding wasn't processed for the exam, I received a bill showing a remaining balance due, so I worked on getting that straighten out, then again I received another bill - still with a smaller remaining balance dues(?) that Medicare would not cover. That bill took me 9 months to get someone nice enough to make sure the bill was resubmitted and taken care of. 1. I'm very upset that Medicare has listed women as either being old or not young enough to get annual exams. I guess they forgot women over 65 are still active. We're not dead yet. 2. Women over 65 should still be covered under Medicare for annual exams for preventive measure, because anything can be going on inside our uterus. Just got eligible for Medicare and had returned card as knew traveling and wasn’t covering but my premium had been deducted even after informing and filed CMS 1763 and now SSA 561 and thank you for processing and expecting refund as otherwise it doesn’t seem ethical. I know Medicare escalated the issue. It is a lot to forego and forgive for whoever was in it!! 😊 Thank God lately getting some great agents at SSA.🙏🏽 I had given ideas to Medicare /SSA and written on SM platforms including for the White House to explore with international insurance Co.’s like Cigna to provide international Medicare plans! It will be great affordable health trades as find good medical services for way less cost than the USA.

If medicare stops paying you for nursing home care is it legal for the nursing home to start charging you a daily fee to stay there because they won't release you medically even if you want to return home.

Us LPNs train RNs, guide RNs, manage RNs. Nursing homes can not run without LPNs. Beside the complete disrespect you have shown LPNs by this recommendation, this plan would bankrupt nursing homes. Currently, nursing homes struggle to entice RNs to work there. Nursing homes can not financially compete with hospitals. Most RNs do not want to work in nursing home settings. Nursing homes would be forced to close their doors. Where will all the residents go? What do you think would happen to the economy if you take the jobs of millions of LPNs. LPNs primarily work nursing homes…yes there are so many other settings we work in but Nursing homes is the most common. You will bankrupt nursing homes and shatter the careers of the LPNs who fearlessly risked their lives to protect our patients/ residents from COVID. The nurses who sat holding your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles hands while they took their last breaths. Stand by our Healthcare Frontline Heros who risked our lives for you and your families!!
