As a tall girl, I have issues finding pants or dresses that reach all the way to the bottom. If inclusivity matters, why do we only talk about weight and dark skins?

I appreciated the perspectives that you both shared in this video (sorry I'm replying 7 months late - big KZbin backlog!) It seems to me that some of the conclusions you guys are drawing regarding whether or not a man is interested in a woman assume that he is in a very healthy state, where he isn't operating in fear or insecurity and he knows what he truly wants in life and in a relationship. Speaking from personal experience, I can say that there was a good chunk of my life where part of my heart was essentially shut down, and I didn't even know it. I didn't really have more than a mild interest in a relationship, but that was because my heart needed healing in ways that I was ignorant of. I'm not saying a person in that state is great dating material at that time, but the situation might change significantly after they get some healing. So my recommendation would be to hold some of those judgments as tentative, particularly if you have any interest in the person, and maybe check in occasionally to see how they are doing and if maybe anything has changed for them. If you find someone else in the meantime, well then I guess it's a non-issue. :)

I enjoyed this. In the past year the Holy Spirit has been leading me to make the first move. I'm more of an introvert, so that's not something that does not comes easy to me. Another challenge is that I live abroad and find it tricky making friends with locals. But I'm learning that sometimes you need to be what you want. If I lack friends, it's on me to do something about it. I think prayer is key. Sometimes Abba answers prayers prayed 6 months or even years ago. It's ALSO important to be open to being friends with people that are different from you. You don't know until you ask.😊

I got pregnant when I was 13 the very first time I ever had sex. I had been pressured by my boyfriend that was older and had sex already. It was 25 years ago and i still have not had a child since. My husband and I have spent the past 10 years trying. I feel it is my punishment for having an abortion per my mothers demand. It has never healed. My relationship with my mother is scarred as well. I feel I can never forgive myself BC it is so horrible and such a huge loss. A hole resides in me wherey child should have been. Im glad you said we can maybe be redeemed by helping others from making the same mistake I did. My shame and feeling of loss bleeds into my life still. Every baby shower or family event I have to fight a secret battle inside. I pray to have a child before it is too late. If not I will pray for peace. I believe He can do miracles but maybe not for a damaged soul like me. I will continue to serve God and I thank you for this discussion though it has me at work crying. Thats not y'all Thats my mourning.
