why are all the atomic instructional videos shot on a potato at 240p

Be aware that there is a school of thought that you don't need to tamper coffee in an Atomic coffee machine, and that it's unnecessary. Some of the reasons that were given to me were; 1. The original 1982 video doesn't tamper the coffee 2. A tamper was never supplied with the machine 3. Tamping is important for commercial machines which generates high level of pressure. The Atomic coffee machine doesn't achieve these high levels of pressure. Just some thoughts for you. I recommend trying both tamping and not tamping and seeing which gives you the better result.

Can anyone advise me please, anyone in the Atomic Coffee Machine community - I think I've found a rare blue knob, alas not the machine but just the knob.....it was with some other Atomic bits which I didn't get, but I managed to salvage the knob. Could I email a photo of it to anyone willing to give out their email address or maybe I could put it up on 'dropbox' if I can work out how it works again!? Anyway, can anyone help in replies?
