Such a beautiful and amazing interview. I have been zoche to be behind the scenes in the good old days and be in choirs and back ups,adult choirs and see the hard work. I remember the cutting and pasting and musicians getting the wrong sheets of music or missing sheets. Reb Yisroel Lamm is a genius and what he calls flops should be the worst thing that ever happens. I have recording from weddings that are straight out amazing. The 1980 or is it 81 Brooklyn college with London School of Jewish song recording is sitting in te basement and still amazing to hear and how Lamm updated it and upgraded it at the HASC concert where it became Gold and off rhe charts to this day. I can go on and on with stories from my perspective and experience as the kid and then adult watching the magic happen. Lamm continues to make so many people happy and that's what counts after 120. It's an interesting conversation. It confirms a bit of my search within faith itself. I see the roots of some of the worst ideas mankind has ever used to kill others. Notes of stoicism's isolationism and the purity concepts that inspired genetic racism. 😅 A good concept faith that's been culturally appropriated thousands of times and corrupted. It allows a forced innocence... Maybe even a faith that inherently isn't given the freedom to question their leadership just like everyone else. 😅 Power over others is evil. You choose how much you allow in your life. I truly appreciate the concept and the spirit of the Jewish faith... But I personally must question the morality of persons that allow peers to blaspheme their own faith, even when against people who are not of the same faith... moral crimes. It's unlawful in a sense of personal growth. Casting out all evil even those we can mistake as necessary speaks to justice and moral actions. I don't think anyone is evil. I know everyone has a different perspective and their life force is purely a reflection of the same light. Some people are closer to the darkness than we could ever imagine. It's not a sin to be a protector. They are brothers too but we must ask each other to agree to peace and love. Not under threat, but in understanding there is no connection deeper than with the light of others. Give the good you yourself wish to receive should you find yourself too close to the darkness parts of existence. Predators are everywhere due to evil.
