People seem to thing that a moose's gate is awkward looking.... ...It is actually perfect for traversing deep snow or stepping over fallen trees or uneven terrine. It also so good that a Moose can easly out run and average horse (35mph) ..And their somewhat goofy camel like nose flap is also perfect as it can close off their nostrils alowing them to dive up to 20 feet to get underwater vegetation. They are essentially still Mega Fauna from the last ice age (just a bit smaller) the only animal left from that peroid. Evolution is the best designer
