If you have a search for "SLRR MWM Cheats" it will bring up a load of results. The two that i use are "begformoney" which gives me 100K (i think) and "ilikecheating". For "ilikecheating" to work you have to type it, hit the spanner (Tune parts button) and then back out to main menu, go back into game and there will be an extra button near the top right of the screen. Click that to get 1 Million each click

You probably are correct, im not exactly an expert with BMW's. I used the V6 engine for 2 reasons. 1) It fit practically perfect into that car. 2) It was the best BMW engine i had. I had 2 inline-6 BMW engines, but i figured this model had either a V6 or a V8
