I have an older Polaris Ranger and was thinking of doing something similar to what you described, and I'm curious what the end product was. The video ended right before the good stuff. Do you keep the sub in the back permanently or only when taking it out riding? I have a bunch of other questions, but mostly how did it turn out? Can we see the final product?

I know someone mentioned the RZR you have. What is the model you have? 2 or 4 person? And if you get the chance, I’d love to see it in the GD. I’ve been told the 3-season doors still make it a very tight fit and you would not be able to have a 4-person side by side AND a washer dryer. Interested in your thoughts. Thanks, good looking unit. Only thing I would add is a winch on the car. I would winch to the rack as a back up.

I really like what you have done, but I am going to do the same thing with a slight modification. I am going to try a small hole saw to put finger holes in the center for lifting the wrenches out and reinserting them. I hope this will work.

Great idea there, Airman. Ex-Staff Sergeant F-15 Crew Chief from 40+ years ago here. Geez has it really been that long??? I have been wanting to do something to get my toolbox more organized, and I think this is is a great idea. True Story: When I was at Nellis AFB, our tool boxes had foam inserts with cutouts for each tool, which allowed for seeing if something was missing. A missing tool can make people die if left in an aircraft. One of the sockets in my assigned box had a hole in the foam that was just a hair too large; if the drawer was closed too hard the socket would shoot out of the hole and wind up in the back of the drawer. I worked swing shift at the time, so I normally slept until noon or so if we didn't get finished before midnight. I got a call from the tool crib NCOIC, telling me I had a socket missing from my box, and I was the last person to check it out. I told him that his subordinate on swings checked it in, and it was there; I also told him to check the back of the drawer. He told me he did, and I needed to come in and find the missing socket. I told him to get his swing shift lackey out of bed and have him look for it since he lost it. Next thing I know I am talking to a Master Sergeant telling me that all sorties for the morning were on hold until the socket was found. I told HIM to look in the back of the drawer. He told me that the drawer had been thoroughly inspected and to get my arse out of bed and come find the socket. So I did. So I showed up in my gym shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops, hair not combed, teeth not brushed, intentionally looking nothing like the Crew Chief of the Month that I was only a month prior. I go into the tool crib 30 minutes later; I'm not in any hurry you understand. I walk in the door and everyone from the OIC and NCOIC of our maintenance unit to the Production Supervisor to my flight chief are all in there waiting for me. The NCOIC asked me where my uniform was, so I told him I was ordered to get in ASAP, which precluded me putting on an unclean uniform since I needed to do laundry. I looked at the tool crib NCOIC and again asked him if he looked in the back of the drawer. Of course he again responded in the affirmative. I walked to my tool box opened the drawer, reached to the back, and pulled out the missing socket. I then inserted the socket into its hole, and said "now you see it," I pushed the drawer closed, and then said "now you don't," reopening the drawer. I then gave the tool crib NCOIC a nasty look, and gave it to everyone else in the room. When I got to work that afternoon the foam had been changed out for stuff that was a bit stiffer and cut to the correct dimensions for each tool.

That rust is surface rust , wire wheel it off and paint it , the axel is supposed to be bent , the weight on the trailer should balance the axel out. Have you ever seen those big flat deck semi trailers that have a slight bend in the deck ? That’s designed for a reason to counter balance the weight and it will straighten out with the right amount of force. It’s not broken

The system is totally dependent on the bolts that hold the truck bed on the frame. Seeing the bed on my 2010 ford rusted off the frame before the warranty expired, (salt in the northeast)I wouldn’t chance it. I feel much better using a trailer. The high center of gravity compounds the problem.

900S won't ever be faster that 1000S even with the best tune and clutching. It would be close to 1000S with maybe a turbo/supercharger

I was racing 1/4 mile in my 1000S stock on 29" wheels no clutching, a cocky dude in tuned 900S, he got and intake, ecu tune and original size tires (27). I won by about 5 sec so it's not worh it and ecu won't make 900 even close to the 1000 tbh. I wonder how much more I would destroy him with clutching and tune.
