I heard Lagos State does not belong to Yorubas. I just laughed in the French style. Abuja occupies different people from different areas. The Commercial hub of Nigeria is Lagos state where different tribes and people of different cultures also settle down in Lagos State. During the Presidential election, the Yorubas did not fully participate; but during the governorship election, they came out in large numbers to support the candidacy of SANWO-OLU in order to prove the state belongs to them. Most Lagosians work and have their polling units in Lagos state but they have their properties and family members in Ogun state. During the presidential election, these people did not return home until when they heard - Lagos state does not belong to Yorubas. What a heavy slap on a soft cheek!
