Flevans

Flevans is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer with an eclectic yet accessible style that straddles the genres of soul and electronica. Known to all the big guns in funk and soul circles he’s a specialist in creating sunny, upbeat tracks. Expertly fusing an encyclopaedic knowledge of samples and breaks with a natural talent for playing multiple instruments in his musical concoctions, the result is killer uplifting tracks that make you want to move.

Starting out his career with respected Brighton-based independent label Tru Thoughts and now on his new home Jalapeno Records, Flevans has since gone on to release multiple studio albums, toured the world countless times as a DJ, had his tracks used in high profile adverts, and garnered diverse support from the likes of The Blessed Madonna, Purple Disco Machine, Gilles Peterson and more.
