Interesting that, at 0:11, the animated diagram shows a countercurrent cell for a VRFB. All the diagrams I have seen before show co-current cells.

How does this compare to zinc for grid storage? Isn't zinc a more abundant mineral? Zinc8 is developing.

I was in sales for over 40 years - and I was taught to just say why your product was better - without degrading your competitors product. By focusing on things that aren't strictly true abt Lithium - you create suspicion in the minds of those watching - about are things you say about your product.

Excellent comparison of pros/cons. One question - Why hasn't TESLA or any other major manufacturers gotten into Vanadium? I don't recall reading anything about this...

two totally different energy perimeters - as I understand - flow batteries are fantastic for long term Fixed use - due to extreme weight and other characteristics - where as Tesla is driving down the Kwh - kg ratio to improve performance in a dynamic situation - and to eventually use LiFePo4 in aircraft.

Thanks. A couple of points which are raised by the video. Most of it is correct, and I support your statements in those instances. But there is a typo at one point, which makes nonsense of the caption, so you will need to correct it. The other points take issue with a couple of your claims. Lithium Ion cells _are_ 100% recyclable, and are being used for 'second life' projects, as well as being recycled. They also have much longer life expectancy that the video infers. Even old chemistry laptop batteries can be used for more than 20 years, if used properly. For instance, I have some cells here which were made more than 25 years ago, which were salvaged from laptops, which are in daily use, hold their charge for many months, and which still have at least 80% of their original capacity. Finally, you don't mention directly that your battery is really only cost-effective at larger capacities, that it is much heavier than Lithium-Ion batteries of similar capacity, and that it has to be used in environments where excessive motion and inversion will not occur, since liquids slosh around and can damage electrodes, or can spill.

I have several questions regarding vanadium alloys and their biomedical applications do you know if there any further information that might help me find answers to these questions?
