I’ve been playing Sims 1 since I was 8 years old. So many adventures and misadventures since then, and I’ve still yet to see all the things in Sims 1.

The sims 1 is considered the hardest in the franchise XD Most people tend to forget the early sim games were very hard. Which is why a problem with the sims 4 is the lack of diffculty (which makes the world feel alive) I would suggest trying out the sims 2 as well! The diffculty is less but it is considered one of the best (besides the sims 3) for its animation and how alive it feels!

It's been donkey's years since I last played The Sims. The biggest challenge for me (and probably many others) was seeing just how long I could play the game, before inputing the money cheat.

I can see the missions getting tedious when doing them all back to back, however, a good way to avoid that can be just drive around and walk around collecting stuff for a bit, or do the bonus mission, then back to the main missions, with the gags, characters and collectables the maps have that simpsons charm that makes the game worth playing imo, that you just miss for the most part if you only do the main missions

This game is just a reskin of Driver 2. Same type of driving missions and lacklustre on foot segments but now with a collectathon aspect. I however, like Driver 1 and 2 even though it's all just driving because it's pure chaos and has nice physics. This game is alright but yeah, not one I go back to.

I think the missions in this game are absurdly over complained about. Even the final trilogy is not some Soulslike feat of difficulty, as much as everyone complains that it is. The races, on the other hand, are absolute torture. Milhouse’s are fine since it’s against the clock, but Ralph and Nelson’s where there are other cars is hell. You have to be SO exact and SO precise every step of the way and never once falter or mess up, because then it becomes impossible to win. One of the cars is always the next player vehicle, so it’s always a star ahead of you stats wise, which you can’t match with any cars on your level. So your only choices are to either get it EXACTLY right, which is a completely miserable experience, or come back later with better cars - which you’re obviously not supposed to do. The fact that these aren’t complained about more is beyond me, it’s just evidence that basically no one plays them.

“That (kicking Marge) is what everyone does first, right?” Including Matt Groening. 😂 Apparently when they first showed him the game, his instinct was the same as everyone else’s and that was the thing he did before anything else. 🤣

The part of the forest level I always found amusing was when you opened a chest, expecting a reward, and instead a gnome pops out. Though I guess that is a reward to a degree, as the gnomes are total bros in this game. The imps however are not bros.
