Currently listening to the soundtrack and dying every time she hits a note! I thought "the feeling we once had" was crazy then I heard "Don't Nobody Bring Me No Bad News" 😮🤯🤯! Every single cast member is a monstrous vocalist! My jaw has been in the ground the entire time! I think this may be the best cast recording I've ever heard in my life!

This was clearly the James Hall / Melvin Crispell version. Not sure if she has sung with them, but even the intro on the longer version had a few bars that sound like the into to James Hall's the Blood. Nonetheless, it had a very specific Brooklyn COGIC flair to it that was lovely.
