I have a 2003 ram3500 5.7 hemi with a single 4 inch cat back exhaust with a Corsa pro series muffler on it and i am still chasing the perfect sound...i am thinking that not one muffler can get it done. I may stack the flowmaster super 10 in front of the Corsa halfway between the cat and the corsa muffler and see if that will even it out. The Corsa does an excellent job but it just needs a little help from flowmaster i think.

Great vid , what pipe are you running sounds good👍
@BJGay-qy9sq2 жыл бұрын
I have twin boys that both ride yz125’s. I just purchased two scalvini pipes and both have the same fitment issue. In Oder to mount the silencer I ended up not being able to fully seat them onto the exhaust flange in order to get the silencer hole to line up.. I’m sure I’ll pull the silencers off and modify them to fit properly.
@erniekopasz57602 жыл бұрын
5 beers?? You complained about it but didn't tell anyone what the problem was with fitment and putting it on.
@SoCalMoto6262 жыл бұрын
The fitment was terrible, I should have waited for the pro circuit pipes to be in stock. The mounts on the pipe had to be welded back on 2 times , the pipe touched the frame and didn’t allow the exhaust to fully insert to the engine. Just a bad design, im not saying every pipe is bad but this one… for the price. Unbelievably garbage
@erniekopasz57602 жыл бұрын
@@SoCalMoto626, Wow, that is so unlike Scalvini. Their stiff is usually top shelf. Other than that, how did it perform? Less bottom-more bottom, less mid-more mid. less top-more top?

I have a YZ250 and it can be a bit of a handful on this track especially on crisp mornings. A trick that works well for me is to turn in the air screw a little which will richen the mixture and take away the lean ‘surge’ that I can see you are experiencing here. Good luck!
@se114592 жыл бұрын
Like at 4:27, you are riding that knife edge of the powerband, I know that exact feeling! Hence your, “phew!” After the big jump. I get around that by landing the prior jump hard on the gas in the same gear you are in, then click up another gear to get below the powerband and engine braking before the jump. If you do it right you can hit the jump face with no or minimal throttle and all and the momentum will take you over. 👍

If you go in on the air screw/ clockwise it will richen the mixture and take some of the savageness out of the initial power coming on. Bike sounds a little lean down low and crazy powerful! Screw was more effective for me than even a heavy flywheel weight. Also feel like you could short shift up another gear on all the fast straights as the bike would be way less buzzy’. Lots of work dialing in my Y250. Fox vet is not best suited to this bike being hard pack and choppy! I short shift around that track but let her sing on the main with the loamier dirt. Great vid!
