I hope that you’re feeling 100 percent soon! Today everyone in my family is going to add five things that they would like to do over the month of December such as watching a Christmas show/ movie, baking cookies. Everyday we’ll blindly choose one thing to do. Thank you for sharing these great game ideas! Yes, I hope that everyone is able to slow down this season. I would a live wrap and chat.

I'd love a video on Breaking the Barrier French! That's what I'm trying this year with my 9th grade son and he finds the program very difficult. There is not much online about the program. I'd love to know if it's just us.
@joyfullyhomeschoolingboysАй бұрын
We are still on Week One. It did say sometimes you have to spend more time on the lesson. It is seeming difficult for him at the moment. Will give an update when we make progress.

@joyfullyhomeschoolingboys OK, thanks for your quick reply! My son said it assumed you had a pretty heavy knowledge base already and while he has done duolingo and Rosetta stone, he definitely doesn't feel it's a French 1 level class. He also feels it's hard to navigate.
@joyfullyhomeschoolingboysАй бұрын
Oh okay! My son has no previous experience with French, but I do understand the website seems to be all over when trying to navigate.

I'm with you on the getting more strict - This year with my 9th and 11th graders, I had to put my foot down. We started the year with them having bad attitudes and all that, but after some "come to Jesus" meetings, we got through it. Things are starting to smooth out in week 16 🤣

I appreciate the realness of your videos. I don’t like to watch homeschool videos that are all sunshine and roses because my homeschool does not look like sunshine and roses all the time. Just so you know, I am not African-American and couldn’t care less what race you are. It’s what you have to share and that you love Jesus!

Thank you for sharing your math journey. We used Masterbooks for math as well till 6th grade. I felt that it did not have enough review, but my kiddo enjoyed it. He was just not retaining it anymore. So we did 7th grade as a review year and focused on our multiplication tables and fractions. Then we just jumped into Denison Math. So far it is going great. We are almost done with Chapter 5 and he has not given me any push back and he is retaining the information. So that makes it a win so far. 👍

I loved the visual titles 😍! I am so excited that you are using Journey Academy for science and I can't wait for your reviews. We went with Science Shepherd again this year because my kids love it. But I always have that stash in my back pocket for future years. As for PE, some (1/5) of my kids are Cyber Schooled and they give one quarter (.25) of P.E& Health a year. So on their transcripts it state PE & Health .25 all four years to total 1 credit. Question, how long is your discount code for FORM? I am considering it for next year and how it will last until then 🤷♀😊.
@joyfullyhomeschoolingboys3 ай бұрын
It should as long as I am an affiliate. Will note. That’s great. Science Shepherd was on my list.

Hey, is there a way to just get the memory work for CC without being apart of CC. I'm interested in the grammar rules and multiplication memory.
@joyfullyhomeschoolingboys4 ай бұрын
I think CC has an app, but I haven’t had to buy songs because they practice them at the group. I have no way to share outside of that. There is a guide called foundations that has the memory work in it also. I will look more into this.
