I had a few CC;s back in the 80's. I have not used any since and have not had any loans either. I remember that when i cut my last one in half that I had a credit score of over 800. So after 40 years of not using the system, Am I considered no credit history or old history? How does that work?

Now I currently have a plan with a good friend I have. He moved to Texas 3 years ago and our mutual plan at the moment is that I will move over to the USA and we will live together. Now I live in Ireland so I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to live that far away from my parents. Now I have another good friend as well in Virginia who said he would 100% be willing to move in with us. Should I keep with this plan as I know that we will be best friends forever and that nothing could change that?

The U.S. economy relies on ongoing credit and debt generation for sustenance. The Federal Reserve is expected to increase the money supply, leading to further debt accumulation for the average American. Meanwhile, foreign nations continue to desire the U.S. dollar, despite their own economies facing significant challenges, some even worse than that of the U.S. This situation raises concerns about who will ultimately bear the consequences of these economic dynamics.

They do say gold will crash in a liquidity crunch However, many of those holding precious metals are preparing for such an event. So they are unlikely to be forced sellers. The paper market would tank and hopefully collapse.

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.

Banks create bank credit out of nothing but a licence from the government to do so - against their customer's collateral, [NOT by their customers depositing more money - about 97% of the 'money' in the financial system is bank credit denominated in State currency]. Banks borrow from the money market in order to service their customer creditor's demand for immediate payment and arbitrage their borrowing and lending rates to secure a profit. Over 90% of the deposits in their customers accounts are created by the banks themselves, out of nothing. The general public and SME's, that employ most of the population, simply do not have sufficient savings to fuel bank lending through depositing part of their earnings in a bank, in fact employed and employers rely on bank credit to function in a consumer economy. The total salary and wage bill p.a., in the UK, is around £1.3 trillion it generates around £8 trillion in transactions. the total transactions p.a. recorded by the computers at the BoE is around £300 trillion, those transactions involve the creation and transfer of bank credit. Bank solvency is predicated on collateral retaining its value, and money market interest levels, the borrowing rate. Reserves levels are set by the central bank from which the banks have to purchase government bonds to create those bank reserves. The explanation given above is a travesty of the truth about how the financial system works. Its an invention of clueless academic economists, no banker believes it, they operate on the modus operandi pronounced by Reginald McKenna (C20th director of the BoE), he asserted that ,’ I am afraid the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that the banks can and do create money and they who control the credit of the nation direct the policy of governments and hold in the hollow of their hand the destiny of the people.’ The only part of the population that is of interest to the finance sector is that with assets which can act as collateral for loans, which allows them to create bank credit out of nothing, and make a profit from arbitraging interest rates.

Thanks bro, so many people when asked about credit card overcomplicate things or gives vague answers, some even dodges the question cuz of ridiculous reasons like being ageist, or postulating, or underestimating the value of learning early. I'm over here 20 years old, but these stuff can be taught to 15 year olds, giving them 5 whole years to build up proper credit and actually getting ahead

I’m 41 and just starting to look into Roth IRAs. I’ve heard they’re great for retirement, but I’m unsure how to start. Inflation’s not helping either-it’s making me feel like I’m way behind.
@Franky-j6e23 күн бұрын
I know the feeling. I started investing in a Roth late, but I can’t stress enough how the tax-free withdrawals during retirement make it worth it. The key is getting started, even if it’s small. The earlier you start, the more time your investments have to grow
@Kseniaramesh23 күн бұрын
Totally agree. But a lot of people don’t realize they make mistakes like over-contributing or not diversifying enough within the Roth. It’s not just about having one-it’s about managing it right, especially if you want to retire early.
@Andres_85323 күн бұрын
Managing it right sounds easier said than done. I’ve tried DIY investing, but honestly, it’s been frustrating. Do you know someone who can help me make the most of a Roth IRA?
@Kseniaramesh23 күн бұрын
My CFA, Joseph Nick Cahill, specializes in optimizing portfolios, including Roth IRAs. He’s helped so many people with both short-term and long-term strategies. The best part? He offers free consultations, so you can see if he’s a good fit before committing.

0:25 This is incorrect. Banks _do not_ lend out depositors money. Deposits _do not_ create loans. There's a great article on the subject by Professor Richard J Murphy on Tax Research Org called _'Banks don’t lend out depositors’ money'_

Hi , if anyone can help I would appreciate it. I’m very confused on paying off your CC. if you have $1000 limit and you spend $300. Should you pay off those $300 on due date or should you not pay it all off ? Some people say don’t pay it all off and to just pay ( in this case ) $270 ? Or to just pay the minimum amount? I’m very confused on that too

It's insane arithmetic to sum up 10k of deposit with 9k of debt and conclude that we have 19k in economic... Let's imagine we don't have a bank in the equation: I've just lent 10k to my friend. He can use 10k money (just like credit) while I have his liability to return them (just like a deposit). Do we have 20k in total now?
