SO glad I was there❗❗We know the music is great, but, the sound, the volume, the mix that The Warning have is what's impressive, also. Nor does it matter what venue; it is absolutely consistent; this was #7 for me. This observation is coming from (originally) a recording/audio engineer. AND compared to others, the is no comparison. In this regard TW are in a league of their own. With others they're too loud and the mix stinks. With TW there is acute clarity, definition, balance and everything shining strong & bright, whilst nothing hurts your ears. This is NOT true of others❗ On this night there were 3 bands, all fronted by women. TW's vocals were wonderful, I'll leave it at that. I sat through (read: endured) the 2nd curious to hear the 3rd. I didn't like either (a person is entitled to their feelings, art is subjective). I left part way through the 3rd. Half an hour with The Warning was worth every penny. And I can say the same about going to Toronto the 30th for their headlining concert at Danforth Music Hall. As Carly Simon sang, Anticipation... 😄

I would love to attend a small venue like this, where I could almost reach out and touch these ladies. Gosh, it reminds me of my bar hopping days. I would get a girl on the dance floor and move as close to the speakers as I could. I love feeling the rock. I'm 69 and still love feeling the rock. I have my TV hooked into my stereo. Two 18" 4-way floor speakers in my mobile home. If the volume is anywhere near half, the neighbors can hear my music too. I also have a very nice JL Audio system in my car. Chevy Trailblazer, 4 door. Each door has a Hertz speaker and in the back are two JL Audio 12" woofers. Two powerful JL Audio amps. The more power the better. I went to my first concert in 1973 in Burlington Iowa, just a few feet from the Mississippi. Everyone, even the police inside the auditorium were smoking pot. The Warning sounds and feels so good, I love them so much, I can't get enough. OPEN THE PIT!!

That's not a small venue, that's a big arena with 19k capacity.

The Warning waking up (literally) the crowd. First I thought the crowd was too quiet because they didn't know The Warning and because the place, being the first out of three bands of the night, was half empty when they played. But later I saw videos of Halestorm and Evanescence performances, and altough the places got more packed, the people remained quite quiet. Therefore I gotta conclude that's it's something cultural. That's just the way they are over there. Nothing wrong, but kinda puzzling TBH. Even japanese crowds, famous for being reserved, shows a lot more enthusiasm.

You’re right. It might actually be a cultural thing. People were having the time of their life with evanescence, but I could barely even hear the crowd singing to My Immortal. I’ve never been to a concert where the audience was dancing and singing and screaming, except for when I left the country. The stadium was half-empty for The Warning. But there was still some people headbanging. After the set, I heard so many people comment on how good they were and now they have to go home and listen to more of their music. That’s an odd cultural quirk I’ve never really thought about before! I have always felt like being quiet and just really listening to the artist and music is more respectful than dancing along and singing at the top of your lungs.

The Warning deserve better than that audience, they looked like cardboard cutouts that mob.

It could just be a cultural thing. It definitely isn’t out of disrespect or lack of interest. That’s just how concerts kind of are in Canada.

The crowd warmed up near the end of the set, for Evolve. Even though it was pretty dead, afterwards I heard many people comment on how good they were and searching them up. They got many new fans.

@@perezfecto I saw better reaction to "Conquer Divide " supporting TW and believe me, there is real gap between these two. It seems US/Canada audience is simply... colder than others. :)

Sadly they were the opening band and no one really even moves (even in GA) to songs they don’t know. Had to wait until Bring Me to Life and I Miss the Misery to actually hear the crowd sing 😢
