Spam is great. I always carried a few cans in my tractor. It is precooked so you can eat it from the can. A little mustard on bread and you have a tasty sandwich.

You need Pete. It made from coconut shells. Keeps the roots covered, holds moisture in. It’s done wonders for my garden. You can also try to catch create dew. There’s many ways to help with this.

Hey Tommy I am waiting for the rain here in Pontotoc as well. Do you collect any rain water? That has been good for me as well as the well water I use to water with.

We do but used all of it for our chickens, goats dogs and garden. Hopefully to get it replenished by the spring. Growing season is hard as you know in the fall. New things to always try. Thanks for the comments and for watching. Have a blessed weekend.

I actually like Spam, thin sliced and browned crisp in a skillet in a sandwich with mustard and mayo and lettuce and a slice of summer tomato. Yum.

Frankly....if you use the Bacon Spam you would not need to use the bacon strips. And yes...that sandwich looks amazing and it's making me hungry. Thank you for sharing.

For over 70 years I've heard Spam only referred to as something horrible as an emergency food that you just had to force yourself to eat. After watching some videos like yours and decided to try it. I also watched Gordon Ramsey as he cooked it in Hawaii....so I bought the regular and the bacon one. I tried the bacon Spam lightly browned and with scrambled eggs. It shocked and surprised me....and made me very happy. This will be a staple in the pantry for sure. I actually and truly enjoyed it. Like crispy bacon with eggs...yum!!

Oh no! I hope they recover. Do you cicadas there? Is that what I heard? We don’t have them here but I heard them in Japan last July. So noisy during the day.

Great to support local FFA's. Sure beats the prices of the leading producer of $4.99 ea. for 1 small plant, I'd rather give the kids that money. Your raised beds look good and should produce all you need this season. 👍
