Innocent? Really? Remember her first husband? She stole drugs,faked her death,let her husband go to prison, let a man lay dying on the road while drunk with her lover, treated Rick like garbage, lied to Josh over and over, from the start. She started out possibly loving Josh,then it became an obsession, was ok with the kids but did NOT raise Shane. But didn't mind one bit to use them when it served her purpose. Never once cared how her crazy antics was going to affect them. Just kept spewing hate at Reva,so of course Reva is going to spew it back. Was happy when the kids hated or were scared of their own Mom. Couldn't stand it when they started warming up to Reva and calling her Mama. And Reva didn't leave for 5 years on purpose. She had a breakdown and drove off a bridge. Had amnesia for all that time. She tried to do what she thought was best for Josh and her kids. She got blasted for that and she got blasted for staying. As a parent,could any of you stand by and watch your own kids being turned against you? The adults were running on high emotions and not thinking clearly. But Annie was always ready and willing to stoke the fire and put every ounce of blame on Reva. Everything Annie did was blamed on someone else. She made her own choices,own mistakes, and not once could she own up to them. Always someone else's fault. That's a pathetic way to go through life. She dug her own holes. The only time i felt sorry for her was when she had to have the hysterectomy. But given her declining mental state and obsessions,it was probably a good thing. She lost her temper several times with Tammy and once with Mara cause they didn't say what she wanted to hear. I don't feel sorry for anyone that refuses to take responsibility for their own actions. And if none of you have ever had a love like Josh and Reva, i feel sorry for you. Yes,they made mistakes too,but owned up to them. As for ruining Annie and Alan's wedding,it wasn't even legal in the first place. Alan was in love but Annie wanted money and power. Mostly to ruin the Lewis family. Mara and Shane included. She made no secret of that. Reva did what she had to do to protect her family from a vindictive couple. Annie was still obsessed with Josh. Right up until the end. Yeah, we've all made mistakes and made wrong choices. But owned up to them and moved on. I liked the Annie character and Cynthia Watros. That was a great story line and she was a good villian. Cynthia left the show on her own because she wanted to do other things. She didn't want to come back,so they brought in the other woman. Still obsessed with Josh btw. I didn't like any of that story line. Last time we saw Annie,she was in a mental hospital thinking she was still with JOSH, not Alan. Wonder what happened to her after Alan died? I don't think Alexandra would have continued to pay for her accommodations. Lol. And remember,it was just a soap opera.

Beverlee McKinsey portrayed the character Alexandra Spaulding much more powerful than Iris, but being someone who enjoys all of the ones where she portrayed them both, I liked her as Iris better. I love the relationship she had w/her father on Another World. He always looked after her, and I love that character as having more love to share along with the relationship she had with her maid Vivien.

Such an insane storyline. We thought nothing could top Marlena’s possession but Reva’s clone did it 😂😂

😢❤Sadly this would be the last season for Guiding Light. We must say goodbye 👋 to our family and friends in Springfield Illinois. I watched GL from the 80's til that last day in September 2009. After Katrina, the actors came to Biloxi Mississippi to help with the clean up. That is a cherished memory. Tom did fabulous as Jonathan, but I just wish, he & Lizzie we're endgame they're had so much in common

Lizzie is great character, Emme was my favorite playing her .. That why her & Jonathan worked so well together & deserved to be endgame.. their lives were so the same. Understood each other. I'll never understand her & Billy..

So she returned to Springfield with a similar story to Alan-Michael. (The one she used to date in high school.) I did enjoy Wendy btw as well a PT in the role of Dinah. Although, PT Dinah was a good girl.-I didn't see GT in the role, but I'm sure she was good.

She was definitely dangerous, a femme fatale with absolutely fantastic fashion taste. She had an almost borderline fascination with her own son. The song that should had been played with this particular video devil in disguise.

Dylan Shayne Lewis was a cool character

I liked both Beths. I do think that BC was able to make Beth her own. It is just disappointing that post her 1997/98 return she was given very little to do other than to be rescued by Phillip. Or be fodder for Phillip's love interest. And I love Phillip and Beth. I feel beth could have had more to do character wise. The Lorelei story could have been interesting if it played more into her past as a teen.
