I know this is old but I just love that sound. I’m curious, do you know what kind of pots that guitar has?

Hi mate, I wonder whether you would mind us linking to your Video from our Pit Bull Guitars website. We are just about to launch John Benson's Custom pickups here in Australia and it would be great to have a demo of the product on the Gypsy69 page. Feel free to email me: [email protected]. Nice playing, by the way.

Sure thing!...although this wasn't the best demo by any means. If I get time to put something together that's a bit better, I'll be sure to upload it. Thanks.

Awesome improv man. I have the same guitar. It is my favorite by far and I have several. What's the name of the backing track? Can I find it online? Thanks.

Cool video man, I have a Fender 62' reissue hotrod strat too and it's a killer guitar. Check out my Facebook Group page Shredder Nation where you can come share your music videos, gear and just chat with other musicians. join at ( facebook.com/groups/429503097196709/) hope to see you there.

Superb! Cool riffs and phrasing! I just want to buy that guitar but i'm not sure if that will fit my hand since the neck is a thick C. I'm 5ft. 5 inches tall, do you think I'll be fine with the neck? Thank you!

Sorry about the late response. I guess it depends on your style of playing whether you think it sounds 'better.' This guitar sounds much thicker, is darker, and much more resonant than any other strat I've played. The neck is noticeably thicker than standard, but not uncomfortable. I sanded the nitro off the back of the neck and it feels perfect to me. :)

Getting this guitar in 2 weeks. Between the chunky neck and Nitro finish, Lots of tone...Great playing...

Those are some slick licks, I heard a lot of Clapton in there. Check out my version, I was listening to a lot of Jimmie Vaughn at the time of doing it and I feel it came off that way. Since then I don't really listen to the type of music I play anymore because it ends up come out in my playing, kind of like hearing a song that just keeps playing in you head like a broken record that just wont turn off.

awesome cover by the way , u got skills brotha !

killer , how do u like the 62 hot rod ? I wanted to get an white strat with rosewood , was gonna get the am standard til i came up on this . Does it really sound better than a reg standard ? and is the neck much bigger than a standard in your opinion ? It seems like i sounds fat , i love it . love the old style tuners .

I have a 2001 USA Stratocaster as well,And it has that great sustain like yours. I think they sound better than the newer ones. Possibly the solid Bridge saddles? I also had a 2006 USA Strat and the pickups in 01 were better sounding, needless to say I got rid of the 06. Great playing BTW!
