Greetings. Do these types of pumps have a relief valve that could be used to regulate the maximum oil pressure?

don’t cha gotta refill or add oil, as step 7(& then close that plug btw.) ?🤔. cause I started doing that, good IDa btw, bt it started floping a bunch of oil out in proc.

This would be good for low profile cars, or lifting something else other than cars.

FWIW, I figured out by accident how to fix mine. There is a screw at the base of where the air motor is secured. . . this screw had a red plastic cap on it that says, DO NOT REMOVE. So of course I removed it. When that air jack is operating, I first loosened, then tightened this screw. As It tightened, the ram BEGAN TO RAISE! I tightened it the rest of the way. It now works perfectly. I went back and performed the same procedure on the first air hydraulic jack I bought (Vevor). Now that jack works perfectly also. None of the idiots at either customer service could or would explain what to do, but now I don't need them to. . . fixed it myself.

Mine was only raising the Piston about 2in. I raised and lowered the Piston manually 10 times. Now the air function won't work at all, although the manual lever still works fine.

I called a company the repairs air over hydraulic bottle jacks. They told me forcing the piston up and down is the worst thing I could do.🤥

The air part was pumping on mine, but wouldn't raise it up, I did raise the piston manually, just like on the video, and now everything works just like new.

Great advice - Thanks! Sure wish I knew how the air pump part of this assembly works though -- mine quit long ago. Took it apart and all looks great, but doesn't even make a sound anymore.

How much oil do these pump should have? Mine seems to be leaking and has low level.

I placed a large iron block engine on this stand and it didn't even wince. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a safe and well built engine stand.*

Hi Greg, We have the chipping plug and the air vent plug together. When bleeding the air out, just make sure the air vent plug is on and the release valve is open.

@@zinkohydraulicjack With respect, this still does not answer the question. Do you "leave it off" as stated at 0:38 or do you put it back on when the process is complete? Very helpful video - Thanks - but I do not know whether to put that side plug back in or not. I cannot find an air vent plug locally.
