Awesome job, defo nailed the cuteness and the story was a lovely touch, think you could have another talent in writing querky stories about fantasy creatures and you have a relaxing voice too, bet your kids got some great bed time stories.... also the Ankylosaurus is my fave!

One mans trash is a hobbyists gold. I have several large boxes full of 'rubbish', it WILL be useful one day. Save money on texture paste, with polyfilla (I think you call its packle in the US) with a bit of PVA and ink, throw in some sand or dirt, static grass etc depending on the look you are after. Gloss varnish in the mix makes a great wet look mud.

@@B4MBI72 I never thought about using spackle for texture paste. I’ve made my own with old paint, sand and stuff before but I’ll have to try this!

Tearing the green stuff is a great a idea to get that frayed cloth look! Will wright it down for future use. Any sculpting tricks and tips like these are much appreciated!

3:11 Golden High Flow fluorescent are indeed great through an airbrush. Not all fluorescents though. Just like the rest of the line the AK 3rd gen fluorescents don't airbrush that well.

1:53 I remember a representative from Golden hinting that they would bring out a red fluorescent. Sadly they have no done it yet. Mixing pink and orange you can get a decent red, although the hue is a bit strange. Still usable for under a red paint/ink though.

0:28 sadly any blue fluorescent is crap. Pretty sure there is no good mica to make fluorescent blue paint from. That's too bad, because I would love to use some. Edit: you go into this very topic right after. That's what I get for commenting right away. At least I tickled hte algo a little.

Mine includes plastic, metal, some of which dates back to the 80s, and now plaster pieces. I have started casting pieces for building, and have done a lot more casting than building.

@@Rook986 It’s a joke Mr. Raincloud. Pile of shame is what it’s known by but I prefer to think of it as a pile of future potential. If you are collecting an army, unless you buy one model at a time, paint it, then buy the next, you are going to have a pile of plastic. I buy models I like that, I’ll paint when inspiration strikes for that piece. Investing in future projects.

@Zambies yesss. And I'd like to say it gets better with age, but...🤐 My plan is to have my coffin made with all of the pile of shame so I'll have all eternity to finish them. Though, I figure that by the time I kick the bucket, it will be a sphinx-sized mausoleum...in the center of a great necropolis..surrounded by monuments of sprue and D&D minis...*sigh*😅🤣
