Growing up pretty poor in Australia as a kid, this brings back a lot of memories. Its the shower that you're pretty sure would give you a disease if you spent too long in it. The walls were rich with mildew. Despite being tiled the floor managed to look like a topographical map of Brisbane. It always had a polyester like shower curtain, that if the wind blew in would attack and stick to you. The temperature ranged from the most remote reaches of Antarctica to the eternal fires of Hades, with 0 inbetween. On the rare occasions we had a school camp down the Coast, they would have these sorts of showers there too. I miss it bro. It had its own charms in a way. I swear the little Green Tree Frogs would never be far from one of these, I loved listening to them while I showered on the occasions they visited.

I feel a very strong connection with water, especially running water. This vid reminds me of the days I was getting ready for school, my showers used to take long just because I'd put the hair products, soapboxes, anything available under the water and just stare at it for minutes long, my head tingled a bit. I don't know if it was asmr, probably, but it was my most comforting moment in the whole day.

To all the people talking about this being a waste of water, have you not read the many comments on how this video has helped lots of people going through lots of different stressful life situations? If the video creator ran the shower for 3-5 minutes and looped the video so it runs for two hours, they did not waste that much water. Especially considering the benefit this video is providing people for a long time to come.

So unfortunately, it’s become apparent after visiting this video once in a while, that I may need to educate some of the viewers. 1: You’ll be pleased to hear, that this is in fact not a shower left running for hours straight, but rather a 3-5 minute clip I’ve cut and looped. 2: For those who still believe leaving the shower running without me in it for those 3-5 minutes is a waste, I’d like you to imagine the amount of hours of running water that I’ve saved from people listening to this, as opposed to running their own showers for sound.

I remember I went through this phase where I would wake up early for school of course all sleepy like everyone else in the morning and then use the restroom and turn my shower on while sitting there doing my business and then I would eventually fall back asleep for a second and drop my phone which would then wake me up and I would go “OH NO”!!! How long was I out!! ??? Then get in the shower my dad caught on to this habit and got mad at me because of the water bill and I had to stop this video is a good replacement for that calm sleepy feeling I would get 👍🏼
