Thanks! It's actually a custom glsl shader. I used Shadered, which is a program for writing and rendering shaders.

I need i tutorial im making a fighting game and i neeeed help creating the damage and knockback system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@playingwithcolor4 ай бұрын
Hey @TheChaChaCoolay, I recommend trying to break down these larger difficult systems into smaller simpler problems until they are something approachable. There is plenty of information online to help you get where you need to be. Try not to push yourself too hard, and have fun! If you need something done short term, try working on a simpler project, and then you can use the knowledge you gained from that to help with the fighting game later on.
The roster could be the rest of the Grumps besides Arin and Danny, Suzy, Barry, Ross, Kevin, Brian and as secret character, the original not so grump, Jon "JonTron" Jafari This is looking cool so far, I love it

I've been searching for a good hardcore BoTW let's play, and the algorithm blessed me with this. A small channel with a host's personality that I quite like, along with the rules. Also, great job on the King's voice! Well done, and accurate!

OH MY GOSH THANK YOU!!! I'm making my own Smash style game and those one way platforms were driving me crazy! Tried your method and got it working in 30 mins! This is such a great devlog! Keep up the great work, man!

Hey I was wondering if you plan to turn this into a tutorial series in the future or plan to release(or have) the project somewhere so we can study it?

I kinda just stumbled upon this, and my god, I hope you win. I really do!! I couldnt help but check, I know you're on your 3rd attempt and I'm oddly pumped to see how and where you've lost. Thanks for the set up of making zelda feel as high steaks as one can imagine. And you're talking isnt bad! Good work in practicing!

This looks like a really cool project, I would love to see more of how you set up the hit boxes in unity, did you have to create your own interface?
@playingwithcolor5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! To answer your question, I used normal hitboxes for just about everything except the attacks. The attacks need to have hitboxes that appear, change shape, and disappear. For those, I made my own tool that does that. Each keyframe holds information on how the hitbox should be shaped, and it animates between those. If you could post your questions on the discord, it'll be easier to keep track of them and I'll give you a more detailed response if you'd like.

also, another tip: Start a regular save file on normal mode and practice the blights on them. It's gonna be incredibly hard to get those on one life. Be careful!
@playingwithcolor5 жыл бұрын
Excellent idea! I'll have to practice fighting Ganon with all the blights too...

I wish the dungeons were more traditonal and unique on the inside also I wish there was a wider variety of enemies, I still heavily love this game though
@playingwithcolor5 жыл бұрын
I agree. Just about everything in this game could benefit from greater variety.
@theprotopotato25315 жыл бұрын
Do you plan using dlc armor like majora's mask because if you are bokoblins, moblins and lizalfos wont attack you
@playingwithcolor5 жыл бұрын

Good attempts! It’s so easy to get killed by some random BS in this game I think you would have to know exactly what to expect to complete a no death challenge. And please don’t feel like you need to be constantly providing some crazy commentary to keep it interesting. You providing commentary at all is interesting and I like the observations you make. Like the “distilling” thing, I had never thought how strange it sounds before but you’re right. Anyways I’ve enjoyed watching so far and hope you’re enjoying making these videos!

Thank you, I really appreciate this. And yes, I really enjoy making these!
@jazmanseventeen78945 жыл бұрын
Loved the video! I dont think you should reset the game every time you die, as that makes it so the viewers cant see progression. I would love to see something where it's like you drop all your items every time you die. I only say that because I'm trying a botw challenge as well, and thats what i'm doing. Anyways, hope you see this series to the end!
@playingwithcolor5 жыл бұрын
Thank you jazman. That's an excellent idea, but doing this in one life is the main idea. I'll definitely keep that in mind though.
