Class run, a well deserved win! Watching this made me realise that the surface degradation gets worse as more and more people complete the event in the league, being the last person to complete the event wasn't a good idea lol

Awesome commitment guys, well done, super fast section in the middle of the stage, very neat and tidy. I wish this rally would come back down to the forests around my home in South Wales. Rheola and Resolven are classics.

so did it feel a bit weird ( and also thrilling) to be rallying on tarmac in England? If you've rallied in Ireland did it feel the same?
@matthewhirst21696 жыл бұрын
billyboy205gti The feeling of thrashing a Evo 9 down country lanes without having to respect any road traffic laws was certainly an experience! Last year I had the honour of writing pacenotes with my codriver for the late Shawn Rayner on the Donegal International rally (in Ireland) and I can honestly say the roads have little in common. Irish tarmac tends to be much more a undulating, unsighted and bumpy than this. I would compare these roads more to that of Belgium rallying. Both in terms of landscape and road character. One difference on these roads was there was little opportunity to take ‘cuts’ on the inside of corners than what is typical of Belgium.

Well done to Chelmsford Motor Club and Clacton and tendering Council on the !st Closed road event in England since the Road Traffic Act Ammendment, let it be a shining example for ALL to see and think about !

Do you have any incar of SS5/10/15? I'd love to see how our stage looked, especially with our club banners on the chicances. Good to see you and Dec out so soon.

Bryan Hull Unfortunately this was the only footage we captured, i would love to put up more onboard because I felt like we were on more of push earlier. Thankyou for you’re efforts in the running of the event and all the other volunteers, judging from the reaction afterwards everyone had a great day!

If thats all you've got then I blame Dec.... ;) It appears to have been well received event with just a few NIMBY's. It was great to take our sport to an area with so little previous awareness. I've never explained how a rally works to so many people before or seen such delighted faces to cars just coming into an arrival control.

Tendring DC, thank you for making us rallyists so welcome, the competitors loved it and said the road sections were awesome with the public out waving and enjoying the cars just driving past. I was one of the Resident Liaison Officers and all the residents on my stage seemed onboard with the event and those I spoke to afterwards loved it and had garden parties while the event ran. Looking forward to next year already. Thank you.

Good work guys just wanted to chip in my $2 please dont take any offence,But i personally don't watch the videos because f the camera angle and the way it tries to correct itself.. Personally i feel it would be better if the camera was setup like other videos...I just wanted to give my own feedback it makes you feel sick and does not do the driving justice..Keep up the good work guys.
