Hello, thank you so much for your kind words! I would love to make your month but, unfortunately, I don't have the original file anymore :( I have two compromised solutions for you. The first is that you d/l this and the original from YT and paste them together. The second is to find the 2011 version of this, which has the synth boost in the chorus but the rest of the song is unchanged. Its not on YT anymore, the only person who might have it goes by the name of Mr Vesanic and has commented in this section, so if you find him you can dm a request. I also did find that file on soulseek, I'm not sure if it said 2011 version or not, but Vesanic was the user. That was over a decade ago, but worth a shot all the same

I know, the synth pairs so well with the guitar in the chorus, it doesn't detract from the "metal" vibe or give it a softer edge, it just ups the creep factor, which can only be a good thing in a song like this

@@R3sulツ I assume you mean how did I isolate the vocals in the bridge to chop them up (?) I honestly can't remember, it was a long time ago. I know I used Audacity, but usually if you try to isolate the vocal it comes out sounding a bit rubbish, so I must have done some additional thing to improve the quality

Yeah, I don't know why they decided to bury it. Maybe they wanted the song to have a harder edge...who knows. But you can thank my man Vesanic for resurrecting the synth part. It was all him. Sadly, his 2011 version is no longer up here, but it's the only reason this version exists, so shoutout to him 🤟

No sorry, I made this a long time ago and just didn’t keep hold of it. You can ask Vesanic whether he still has the file for his version, which has the synth boost in the chorus. I found that version on soulseek. That was years ago, but maybe it’s still floating around

Me too. Well, I wish they hadn't chosen to do it that way. I like the riff, but its a bit too simple to be sticking out like that, the synths just give it a lift. My fav part of the song is those menacing verse lyrics and the way Chino delivers them. His screaming is a bit subpar for the majority of this record, but those two verses are mint 👌

The synth boost in the chorus I have no idea about, not my work. For the bridge I overlaid audio from a live performance. I don’t have the track now but you can probably find it on soulseek or something, the show/bootleg is Area 4 2009
