Im playing it right now... immediately made it to my top 5 fav games... until earlier today it took a turn I was not expecting.. and now... idk.. now im upset and dont want to play anymore 😭 im over 30 hours in and idk if i can bring myself to even finish it

OMORI is a Psychological Horror and JRPG game made by OMOCAT rated Mature 17+ by ESRB due to Violence, Blood and Strong Language. It was announced 10 whole years ago with a trailer on KZbin accumulating a total of 9 Million views, then 3 years later another trailer dropped, then 7 years later in 2020, a new trailer dropped as well as its release date: December 25th 2020 on Christmas Eve. The 2020 trailer accumulated 3.8 million views as of 2024. In 2021 OMORI has officially joined the JRPG gang along with Undertale, Earthbound and Deltarune. OMORI is a mixture of Pokemon (Stat Moves that boosts the user's stats or lowers the opponent's stats, and a Rock Paper Scissors type of triangle), Earthbound (Control multiple characters in battle), and Undertale/Deltarune (Touching story, open world RPG and shitty fandom). It was also announced for consoles in 2022 via KZbin "OMORI Console Trailer" with a Console Edition release date: June 22th 2022. Currently it's available in Nintendo Switch, XBox, Playstation and PC You play as a 15 year old kid named Sunny that has an older sister named Mari, they played piano and violin together and met some friends: Hero, Kel, Aubrey, and Basil in that order. Things were going well, your average friend group making some memories, hanging out at the beach.. Mari even saved Sunny from drowning once! until... Sunny got into an argument with Mari that led to Sunny accidentally pushing her down the stairs, killing her, Basil covers it up for Sunny by saying that it was suicide so Sunny wouldn't get backlash, and like that Omori was born, a sub-conscious in Sunny's mind that reminds him of the time he murdered his own sister. A creepy figure called 'Something' started haunting him and taking the form of a dead Mari to guilt-trip him. Sunny also decides to isolate himself for 4 years straight. He had extreme anxiety, depression and guilt, he eventually succeeded in fighting back... in the Good Ending at least.. After the incident, Aubrey dyes her hair pink and started carrying a bat everywhere for defense and.. just became edgy, Kel started ballin', Hero started to be better at cooking and Basil was seriously having extreme health problems. It's Sunny's last day in Faraway Town before moving out, he finds Basil having a crisis in the bathroom while the others are sleeping, he goes inside and instead of talking it out, they had a full fledged fight, Basil even managed to stab Sunny in the eye with his plant cutters. there's a few endings: Good Ending: Sunny stops Basil from killing himself, although losing an eye with the fight with Basil, he doesn't hesitate to go into his sub-conscious to defeat Omori, then he wakes up in the hospital and discovers that Basil is also isolated in the hospital, he also sees that Aubrey, Kel, and Hero are giving him "Get well!" wishes. Neutral Ending: Sunny ignores Basil's crisis in the bathroom which leads Basil into killing himself and Sunny decides to move out of the town but.. 'Something' actually follows him secretly. Bad Ending: Sunny fails at fighting his depression, anxiety and guilt and gets led to the very roof of the hospital, then Omori takes over Sunny and forces him to commit suicide by jumping off the building. It's kind of like how Chara takes over Frisk to kill every monster in the underground in Undertale. Worst Ending: Sunny ignores Basil's crisis that led to Basil killing himself, then Sunny stabs himself leading him to the top of the hospital before Omori takes over and forces him to commit suicide by jumping off the huge building. True Ending: Sunny waters Basil's plants in HEADSPACE on 2 days left before moving out, then needs to do the requirements to do the Good Ending, until then will he achieve the True Ending. Ratings: Soundtrack: 10/10. Undertale/Deltarune level GOATED Story: 11/10. Very depressing and touching Characters: 10/10. Very memorable Fandom: 8/10. Very funny Gameplay: 9/10.
