Is there a test for resistance between the 2 busbars? I just spent all day working on heat trace, megged good, and then it trips the breaker… after resetting the breaker a few times one of the splices started to shoot fire.

How would you install it on a T point?

The equation for dust vent areas is different to the equation used in Europe.

2 powercircuits in 1 box?? Are the rules in the USA that different from the ones in The Netherlands. Why wouldn't you advise just option 2 or to buy an extra box in option 1, so that when someone works on it and shuts down only 1 circuit hey wil be sure that there wil be no more power in the box. I know my boss, colegeu's and customers would not be very happy with me if I would make such an installation. You guys in the USA suppose to be even more about safety than we in Europe, but this doesn't sound save to me.

How many ft of heat trace 5 or 8 watts and or 240-277volts can control this panel, Example, I have 4 runs ea 100 ft with power connection, the single point will control all runs with one electrical cable from this panel to ea connections?
