lol i think colosseum was my first pokemon game… i couldn’t afford a gameboy or DS until i was in like… 5th grade or something but i had a gamecube!!

Gotta say, Jumpluff deserves better! Who cares if you die to a fire type attack if that fire type is asleep, and it’s ally uses Earthquake. Obviously it’s not a reliable speed run pick, but it’s an incredible pick into most of the game.

I didn't know Plusle could learn Destiny Bond... and it could take out humans.

I remember playing this and i was struggling so hard my mom that was watching me playing said: "Why don't they just gang up on him instead of staring each other?"

Its kinda a shame that they gave us plusle without minun, considering gen 3 pokemon had a lot of newcomers that were built for double battles. But its things like this make me feel good about having carried a plusle all the way to the E4 in emerald as a kid.

Watching this video, i dont know how I beat him first time and caught Entei when I was a kid, I pretty much only play with the two eeves and never caught anything except the legendaries, and of course i reach the end and got fucked and stop playing lol ( I didn't even know there was the starter from Johto, i missed them lol or I didn't catch them)

Thanks for the great video showcasing one of pokemons most underrated fights and having a channel focused on this cult classic! Which this video made me realise how much this game influenced my tastes for game design I have been using the poast 13 years as gaming press and the past 5 years as a game designer... Both in a good and bad way such is colossem being an extremely mixed mixed bag but is rembered foundly for all it quite an achment... Which is the first time I have felt this way to a peice of media that influenced me so greatly... To learn so much both positive and negitve from a single mid to long length game in casul play times of corse. Which I would not have reviewed all that well back then and defnational not if it came out now... But unlike the vast majority of mixed bag games colosseum as aghed like fine wine.. Despite it being a exact same ganme it was and feeling the same way to play then it did... Which is really weird like not even the most broken on launch games with the most funding don't change how I feel about collossem... Like it never had much bugs or anything it was just 50/50 on the game design... Which Pokemon is kinda know for... Having perfectly working games with a mix of design chouices you may like or not... that are good or not... Colossem just makes it painfully obvous.
