Hi everyone, hi Thiago I’ve been learning English for 2 1/2 year when I started learning English I didn’t know English at all and you only every phrase like hi bye something else I’m learning English every day approximately 2,5 some people tell me that I have A2 B1 English level when I started learning English I imagine it could take five years to reach a goal where I can speak English fluently
@louscotr

Thiago if you can please comment, how come you say we have to give at least 3-5 year for solid level of English, in my experience I begun to learn this language from scratch 3 months 10 days ago and my strategy is being exposure in this language for whole day, and I can understand whatever I watch and I can talk fluently right now (Not like native speakers but I believe in myself if I keep doing just like that I'm gonna talk like native speakers I guess) I know I'm not better right now maybe when you read that you can say, you''re making grammatical mistakes or something but just you have to know that as I said earlier I'm just started to learn this language 3 months ago. So my question is how come it's possible for become solid level of this language unless I don't spend my 3-5 year. Because in that point I'm reading native English books and I can understand %90 of these books. I think it is solid achievement just for 3 months, I'm insinuating this because of Reading average books which is native speakers read and almost totally understand meaning is I don't have to spend my 3-5 year for learn this language I guess, I don't mean I know this progress better than you please don''t get me wrong way, I just mean, is it always has to spend 3-5 year practice for become solid in this language quote for necessarily everyone? Because I feel I already B2-C1 degree of English

Amazing milestone towards realising goals 🎉 Really you made tremendous progress. Bro, can you share us tips and tricks you did ? And how you did it ?
@louscotr
@louscotr 2 күн бұрын
@@kaamil2991 First of all Kamil I'm really glad to hear you've a solid dedication to learning this language. And I want you to know that I feel really grateful when I share my experience with anyone who wants to improve themselves, and also I want you to know that maybe I'm not better right now, but as my comment, this is only 3-month achievement, so anyone who reads this comment and when came to cross any mistake in my comment, they should know this is totally normal and natural for 3 months experience. Lets begin; - Mistakes Never, ever feel desperate whenever you make mistake because is totally part of the process, everyone who started on this journey they made as many as mistakes just like us, besides whenever you make mistake feel hopeful and stubborn for you've encountered with your problems and you know what is your weak aspect anymore, so that you can improve that point for become mastery. - Never give up Maybe you can say your tips are Clichy but you need to know that this is the way and there is no magic way/solution for becoming master suddenly, cuz your brain is not sponge to learn everything and memorize whatever you see at any moment. instead brain always choose to ignore ordinary or worthless moment, this is why repetition is pretty important for every branch, you can make your own example by yourself, just sit down and thinking about what is your special moment/event you have ever experience, you gonna see you're probably remember only special moments at that memory or just think what you've eaten 2-3 days ago, you're probably not going to remember. Because I said earlier your mind is choosing to memorize special moments in order to do not put ordinary/unimportant moments for burden in your mind. Best vocabulary acquisition is definitely reading books, I can ever recommend you for expand your vocabulary. maybe you can say; my English isn't well so I don't trust myself about this, it's will torment minutes for me. I know what you feel right now, I'm also coming this way and I experienced that feelings, I have no idea how long ago you started to learn this language, but if the time is more than 1 year, I can assure you you've done wrong strategy for learn this language. Because you can see this is my 3rd months of journey, and I can write dawn all of my thought without hesitate. it's doesn't matter as if I make mistake, just look in this aspect have you understand me? if the answer is yes, discussion to mistakes which I making right now is totally pointless. So you can say, you recommend to me read something in English in order to improve vocabulary but my reading quality isn't well so every minute going to torment for me, I feel you! This is why I'm going to suggest you to talk chatgpt as much as possible with using ""Read pronunciation: English & French" extension in your chrome, you can check words means and pronunciations in the same time. whenever you're ready to read next degree of English texts (Books or anything else) or whenever you start to understand complex sentence structures, you better to next level of English texts. Also I suggest you tame your GPT for talk with you any specific degree of English. - Don't learn words which you're never use Do not write down words on notebook and try to learn, probably you're not going to see again those words, and you'll forget. İnstead always read book, believe me İT'S DAMN BEST WAY TO İMPROVE YOUR ENGLİSH JUST LİKE ROCKETSPEED! Also I suggest you to learn "Morphemes in English" it's going to improve you're vocabulary suddenly massive amount. maybe you can learn 10.000-20.000 of English words in just 1 month and maybe you don't need to go check words meaning which you encounter first time, I know sounds like fantastic and hard to believe but look; İf you learn "-Dis" morpheme in English, look whats going to happen; -Dis morpheme making words mean negative Before; Agree After: Disagree Beafore: Appear After: Disappear Before: Respect After: Disrespect Also I'm going to add new morpheme in Respect word (2 morpheme I'm going to use) Dis respect full Disrecpetfull Did you see what's happened? this is the magic, this is the best quickly way to improve you're vocabulary of English all of a sudden without check words meaning, and someday you gonna realize you don't even check words meaning you're just estimating! This recommendings are was for your mindset and vocabulary acquisition, and if you have made clarify what I said before, lets begin other skills. - Listening This part of English ability is hard than the other skills I guess but not impossible, unfortunately if you want to improve you listening comprehension you have to sacrifice you're time to become solid listener as like as you're native language. Also there is no magic solution for improve this aspect, therefore you have to listen English as much as possible whenever you able, otherwise it's never going to improve, You can use this extension in you chrome, trust me it's will pretty beneficial for you; "Language Reactor" if you use this extension you'll have subtitle, and you going to see words means if you point your mouse cursor at on words which you don't know. - Speaking - Thinking These 2 has need to time, make this things in your habit, do not even think in your native language in normal day, tell and promise yourself about you going to think in English always. After months you'll probably see your speaking skills and thinking in English is improved massive amount. - İt's my first time for write my ideas in this way and this long, and for this comment sake, you have to promise yourself and being exposure in English as much as possible. My strategy is stay away from my native language and being exposure in this language as much as possible. PEACE!

How would you rate the level of English of someone who can understand the video, but doesn't feel comfortable speaking or writing in English?
@teacher.thiagoalencar
@teacher.thiagoalencar 4 күн бұрын
Hard to say without a proper assessment, but I would say your listening skills might already be at B1/B2 level while your speaking and writing skills might be at A2 level. Ideally, you want all your four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) to fall under the same CEFR level. It's okay if one or two skills are stronger than the others, as long as all the four skills are in the same CEFR level.
