@koukouvania. - Thanks, i don't have any plans to do more at the moment. I do have about another five videos on my KZbin channel though. You might have already seen them but if you haven't, check them out. I've done three more short sections from A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers and two bits from Peter Hammill solo songs.

Saw this guy live in 1998 at the chain reaction in Anaheim. Great show... Nobody knew what it was or how to move to it, but he still got the whole crowd(the place was standing room packed) feeling whatever vibe he wanted.

Sweet, lovely touch and perfect phrasing would love to hear you pull all the musical themes together into one long instrumental. I absolutely love this gorgeous theme and the final rising crescendo on organ. Such beautifully constructed passages using melancholic yet uplifting chord sequences - pure Genius.

Just seen ''Eye Witness'' love it. You are well on your way to doing the whole song ! Go on - do it please.
@warmswarm8 ай бұрын
@@neilparnell5712 - It's too difficult to play the whole of "Plague" which is probably why Van Der Graaf didn't play for about 40 years! I saw them play it about 10 years ago at The Barbican in London. Sadly it was without David Jackson on Sax and Flute though. He does a lot of great work on Pawn Hearts, a lot of great Horn Parts. : ) I will be doing another short extract from Plague in a few weeks. I think it's the start of the Cosmos Tours section.
@neilparnell57128 ай бұрын
@@warmswarm That's what I meant - keep on doing sections until you have all the ''musical'' themes and stitch them together in sequence just like VdGG did. Keep up the good work. Agree Jackson is indispensable on Pawn Hearts, but you were still blessed to have borne stark witness to Plague in any form.

Do you have sheet music for this or by ear? I'd love to learn this piece.
@warmswarm Жыл бұрын
@theaestheticman9919 - I'm afraid I don't have the sheet music, I just work stuff out by ear. I placed the camera above the keyboard so it's easier to see what my hands (fingers) are doing. The only other thing that might help is to go into the KZbin settings, on the bottom right of the video, and slow it down to 50%. It gives you a better chance of seeing what's happening. Don't forget to change it back to normal afterwards or all your videos will play at half speed! : ) I hope that helps.
