Hi that’s what I was thinking also and was my first thought but then usually when you click the max battle boss it shows the trainers in it and the pokemon left? Also when the Max battle timer starts the pokemon boss is what’s presented on top of the max battle with the boss? So it just got my mind going 😅😅😅 and I was like uhhh theory time LOL thanks for commenting and I hope you enjoyed the video and my funny theory lol

Lapras will be tankier than Gengar and Toxtricity but its base defense is still relatively low. While Metagross makes a great tank, it's better to have Blastoise (or Venusaur) on field as tanks. The reason is that Metagross has only 1s fast moves but you want to have a Pokemon with a 0.5s fast move using no charged moves to Dynamax the fastest. What I recommend is having your Blastoise on the field and quick switch into Metagross to tank Ice/Dragon/Normal moves, then switch back into Blastoise so Metagross doesn't slow down your Dynamax significantly. Also, you really want your attackers dealing super effective damage so I wouldn't recommend Gmax Charizard or Gengar. There are plenty of effective counters and especially Gmax Venusaur is a top attacker against Lapras.

This is what ive been noticing a lot while studding dynamax and gigantamax is fast move 0.5 to charge the meter seems to work really well and the idea to get to dyna/Gmax form quick as possible but my thoughts are what about the over all chip damage from supereffective fast moves that should add up if everyone is using the right counter right? I’ve been trying both techniques out and for Gmax Lapras I will do the same I did invest into venasuar to use as main Gmax attacker and tanker with also metagross and want to build a blastoise to take damage also but do to resources I’ve opted to Charizard. Thank you for your comment and really good insight and info it’s helped me rethink some strategies I appreciate your knowledge!

@@DarkMatterWolf9 Chip damage does add up but Dynamaxing faster has far greater benefits. The most important thing is that you get more Dynamaxes before the boss enrages and Max moves are quite powerful. Getting to use Max attacks more often is a great damage increase but your survivability increases too because the boss has less time to use attacks between Dynamaxes. This can lead to fewer heals/shields needed and more focus on Max attacks which further increases the damage output. I don't think the chip damage from stronger fast attacks can compare. Resources are important to consider too, yeah.

@@DarkMatterWolf9 Yes, the double rewards has the cost of 200 Pokecoins for defeating D-Max isn’t worth it but G-Max has the 75,000 stardust which is actually worth it depending how much you have left with Pokecoins.

Dont forget about budget counters. For example, you don't have alot of xl for Beldum. So people can use Failinks or Skwovet, Skwovet gets a fast grass move and Failinks is a fighting type. Even Dubwool has a fast fighting more

I agree about Campfire. Unfortunately, many countries, like those in the MENA region don't have access to it. Unless you have a VPN, connecting with others becomes extremely complex.
