Biggest unanswered question for me…how many top deck chairs in the sun? I did not see many. Imagine the daily fight for chairs each day if they only had 1000 seats with 10,000 people on board. Laying in the sun is the number one priority for me and most people I know when cruising. It could be miserable if you could never find a seat.

Good question. With Boardwalk rezoned as Surfside on Deck 7, there are more areas for kids and families to congregate. This should leave many more deck chairs available around the ship. We'll know for sure within the next two weeks how that pans out. When I was aboard Icon of the Seas on Jan 11, there were no noticeable AMC's (Areas of Mass Congestion) and places for adults to finally be able to enjoy on non-port days.

It was too heavy on Grand Princess because they used a heavier metal and they used a lighter metal for it on Caribbean Princess, plus Grand Princess is smaller so it left a more noticeable impact on how much the ship tilted back with skywalkers on

I was helped by a south african doctor on Holland America Line and they also employed other doctors from across the world on the same ship, so they do!

Looks a lot more stable than Carnival Cruise lines Fantasy crossing that I was on in early 1990. That was one hell of a storm. The ship was the equal largest of the day but dwarfed by this ship. Still 90,000 tons and 290 meters in length with 14 decks and still tossed around like a row boat!
