Nice bumping into you again at NYMR axl, i got you on film arriving into Grosmont just after the tunnel @ 11.03, you also got me at exactly the same time, i'm stood on top of the wood viewing platform (greay hair & blue jeans), Saturday definiterly the best day weather wise of our 3 days there but even the wet one's where fantastic and would not of missed them for anything, shame you missed "Omaha" running on Thurs & Fri but still plenty of steam action on Saturday.

Yes and ohama was in very light steam all day in the shed literally a faint bit of steam coming up from its whistle

Enjoyed the video axl, even though i prefer steam i like some diesels if they have a shape and not just a squre tin box on wheels, was nice to see sun at ELR as everytime we go it chucks it down lol

Great day out The 37 driver in the tunnel was giving it some. Don't know why he was yanking on the train though, a lot of strain on the couplings doing that. EE Type 4 look great all lit up and sparks off the brakes, brought back memories seeing that

I think the smaller industrial type locos sound better than some of the big main line ones. I wonder if that shelter near the bridge at Embsay was at Bradford Exchange, I think a taxi shelter, there was something like it there

Fantastic event with so much going on, more than just about the trains and you captured it well. The failed diesel box rescued by good old steam a delight to see in 1966.

@@cedarcamthanks cedar I posted it once took it off got it to correct speed. A lot going on realised id forgot to film the steam roller and everytime I got off the train at Quorn I never caught the freight moving in and out of the yard 🙄

Yes makes light work of 6-7 coaches. I would guess it can do about 50mph tops though . Doesn't always have the blue star on but was on this day.

@@cedarcam yes I like the live steam but as O gauge you have to follow them around to adjust. Was a great day out I had forgot when the SVR first started Kidderminster was just a freight yard so they have recreated a GWR station what would of been and I think they done it perfectly

47s not too bad it's royal 799 but a non runner. Surprisingly 37042 does turn over and internally in good condition

It looks like they are willing to show you round in the drivers cab and signal box Driver for a fiver is good too. Hopefully they get the line extended so it is easier to get there.

@@cedarcam yes Mid week is a very steady trickle that 205 was a 3 car set but they only unlocked the middle carriage wasn't enough passenger to bother with the other carriages
