Work it out or walk away, any drama will just make it worse up to the point there’s no going back
@PathwayOfSurrender4 күн бұрын
Absolutely, that’s a wise approach! Sometimes, it’s best to decide if it’s worth working through challenges or if it’s healthier to step away. Drama often escalates things, making reconciliation harder, so handling things calmly can really make a difference. Thanks for sharing this perspective!

I will never believe in Jordan because Jordan is not going to be able to present the real research on this topic because he only promotes a theory he has yet to prove. Jordan is guilty of PRIDE, VANITY, ENVY, GREED, and WRATH. But Jordan is simply not honest in any way. Look at how he started trying to deceive the courts in 2009 regarding the Sordi case. At the same time Jordan will not address that DURING SUSPENSION, LICENSEES MAY NOT PRACTICE PSYCHOLOGY OR REFER TO THEMSELVES AS PSYCHOLOGISTS. As indicated above in "Probation," suspensions are considered disciplinary actions associated with probation orders and, as such, are public information and provided to consumers upon request. Jordan is a Jim Jones or David Koresh wannabe. He is an entertainer not a psychologist. Because he sells books and videos and lectures, THAT IS NOT THERAPY. He needs to address his bad conduct in courts in the case of Case 1 Sordi v. Sordi, 2009 CanLII 80104 (ON SC) he defamed a parent in court. In the case 2 R. v. Pearce, 2012 MBQB 22 (CanLII) he tried to free a murderer. Then in the case Peterson v. College of Psychologists of Ontario, 2023 ONSC 4685, he tried to avoid taking responsibility. He also tried to interfere in a family court case in Montana, the Kolstadt case, where there was a GAG order, he unprofessionally diagnosed a minor without interviews or assessments, and tried to defend unfit parents.

Don't completely agree. Men understand the hazard of life as well if not better then women. Yes, childbirth is a difficult and dangerous act. But men are expected to risk harm 100%, women are not. Women may think about it more because of the infant, but man is aware of how prepared their offspring have to be for life and its harshness.

0:47 Wrong. If you were ever a psychologist and not an actor you would know that hoarders make paths among the mountains of rubbish in their rooms. THEIR paths. I start to think that hoarding is (also) a dysfunctional form of trying to gain a sense of control using all the shit this world throws at the individual.
@PathwayOfSurrender11 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your insights on the topic of hoarding. It's really valuable to have perspectives like yours that delve into the complexities of such behaviors. You bring up an interesting point about hoarders creating their own paths among their belongings, which is indeed a significant aspect of hoarding behavior. The idea that hoarding could be a form of gaining control in response to external challenges is quite thought-provoking. Understanding the multifaceted nature of these behaviors is essential, and your comment adds an important dimension to the discussion. If there are any specific studies or experiences you'd like to share on this, we would love to hear more! Your input is greatly appreciated.❤️

@@PathwayOfSurrender This idea/ hypothesis just came to me; maybe I read it somewhere but I don’t recall. I am not a psychologist, but I have worked with people who hoard. Trying to find the path that such a person had made for themselves was a live lesson in empathy. What kind of path? What objects were closer or further away from the path? What did it mean for the person? What’s the meaning of various objects to them? It seemed to me that these people were trying to draw maps of their lives whilst shutting off the world outside their home, not completely dissimilar to the hermits of old who were withdrawing themselves from the world and filled the caves they inhabited with meaningful gods. It’s tragic and fascinating at the same time. One of the things that pisses me off about Peterson is his arrogance and self- centerdness which makes him wave the guilt stick at those who don’t heed to his advice to tidy their rooms. Why would they if the order he bangs his drums about is rubbish?
@PathwayOfSurrender11 ай бұрын
Thank you for your thoughtful and reflective comment. Your observations and experiences working with individuals who hoard offer a deeply empathetic and insightful perspective. The way you describe trying to understand the paths and the significance of objects in these spaces is truly fascinating. It highlights the complex and personal nature of hoarding, going beyond the surface to understand the emotional and psychological dimensions. Your analogy of hermits and the comparison to how they imbue their spaces with meaning is quite intriguing. It underscores the idea that every person has their own narrative and way of interacting with their environment, often in ways that might not be immediately apparent to others. It's also understandable that you have strong feelings about the perspectives and approaches of public figures like Jordan Peterson. It's important to have discussions about different viewpoints and approaches to psychological and life challenges. Everyone resonates with different methods and philosophies, and what works for one person may not work for another. Thank you again for sharing your experiences and thoughts. It's through such exchanges that we can all grow and understand these complex issues better.

My husband and I suffered using NFP and abstinence due to religious and medical institutions involvement in our reproductive rights. I was often fertile and put on medication for bipolar disorder in 2009. Therefore did not want to risk having a child born affected by those drugs. Making the decision to divorce my husband of 20 years whom I planned my retirement around was very difficult. But my life felt so stifled by his incomprehension of who I had become after 5 years of the The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures and my daughter teaching me how to use the KZbin App. Love and Forgiveness can cure a multitude of sins. I hope ❤

Uhh just like Christianity it would be impossible to provide evidence for the existence of Allah or anything supernatural. Evidence is natural, it's the bedrock of science which is natural philosophy, as opposed to supernatural philosophy which is nonsense and has no evidence, hence why faith is so important for believers, you need to believe without evidence.
