Thanks for the summary! I dig the graphics, takes me back to school :D How did you get on there, or was that done by madrid ?

Thanks, Adrien. Great race in Turkey for WDSC. Very helpful as I’m getting ready to put one on. Obvious thing, but have to strip old grip tape off then add torque block?

Damn dude! I took off my palmease a few months ago because they kept falling off. Currently getting all of the height from a puck with heavy duty velcro.
@AdrienPaynelАй бұрын
I never had problems with Palmease falling off for no reason, but coincidentally this was the first time trying a different brand of risers. Regardless, I put my hand clean off the road so it was simply a skill issue.

If you stand on a slightly soft surface, your weight will make the sole sink into the surface, and the sides/edges of the sole will be pressed up against the edges of the shoe bottom.

Ah that’s smart so carpet would be good or a bed

Thanks for clarifying the process as I did it wrong. Definitely had issues with Becker sole sticking because I was unaware of cobbler. Glad I at least scored the sole.

If you have time you should do a video about how to set up split angle trucks and how to tune the under/over steer that can come with a split setup

I really love how detailed you dial in your setup! I'm looking for a setup which I can use for commuting to parks, spots etc. but sth. I can have fun with, too. Currently got a beginner cruiser setup with grippy af 80a, wide contact patch carving style wheels, but I've been skateboarding for 20 years :D What wheels and setup in general would you recommend for powersliding at lower speed like 10-20 mph cruising around town and bombing some hills from time to time?

Going along with your euro kid inspired WB and such, I'd love to see a video from you about foot placement. I raced a lot 15+ years ago and have gotten back at it, and the new DH slalom setup is boggling me. Some runs its just way beyond what we'd ever dreamed of back in the day and awesome. On others I just can't make it do/feel how I want or even bail because I'm not very consistent on foot placement and obviously new to things like blocks and foot stops!
@xXGe0rgEXx12 күн бұрын
You steer a lot more with your front foot and the rear foot just stays over the board. Look at most people riding tiny boards with slalom trucks, their rear foot doesn't do much except bend forward to weight the front of the baord.
@DaddyRobotX155 ай бұрын
so easy to look for .25 of a millisecond away from your target apex to whatever hazard is lurking off the side of the run & have that moment extend into a full 2 or 3 milliseconds which inevitably yoinks you off into the CliffsideCosmos
@bennyb.17425 ай бұрын
I'm new to torque blocks, and kinda put it too far forward, and used the stock Venom double sided tape. When I went to pry it off, the carbon layer on my deck went with it 😬
