When I was a garda working inside Limerick prison (during the prison officers strike) it opened my eyes to a lot. I did a lot of protection duty on the outside security boxes but when I was inside I noticed how prisoners were made to feel valued. They were given jobs and responsibility and had a sense of purpose and were on first name terms with some of the prison officers. I could see the gloom descend on them when their release date was coming close. It was obvious they were going to miss the routine and certainty of prison life and were almost dreading being released. That point was mentioned by one of the interviewers.

Been feeling alone all my life not just bc i'm an only child, also bc i was raised on hate. Their message was "hate family", which translated into hating my own. I gave one son up for adoption, Both sons hate me and want no part of me, and the feeling is mutual. Can anyone relate to this awfulness?

Lads, ye'r decent guys, but ye are definitely not the people to interview her. She needs to be ripped apart on her policies and exposed for the utter incompetent that she is! McEntee is a literal cancer on Irish society. The reason the likes of her are able to continue is because they are never confronted on how they are destroying the country. This was waaay to cordial. She wouldn't have agreed to do this if she thought she was going to get tough questions.

I’ve never met Patsy but my mum is his cousin which makes me his cousin. My mother moved to England from Cork when she was young and always stayed close to the family, especially Pasty’s sister.

My brother sent me this video. We both, in fact all four of us, had a difficult childhood. My father was a World War II veteran. A tank commander, wounded at Anzio. He had a mental breakdown when I was nine. It affected each of us differently because we were all different ages and had different understandings. I want to thank my brother for sharing this. We lost my oldest brother who developed severe mental illness. Perhaps because of him, we didn’t recognize that we too were wounded. Little by little we are learning. Little by little we are making progress. Always too slow, but that goes with evolution.

Lad’s nothing against ye I know ye n loved ye’re show, this is for Nicola, I just want to call her out on calling my brother one of the biggest heroin dealers in cork n being linked with the family in Dublin, how can you call John keith o Donovan what you called him on your podcast when he had no previous drug convictions until they shot him in mallow which wasn’t an accident ya man d guard jumped up on the bonnet and aimed at Keith and shot into the windscreen, only for my brother lifted the handbrake he would have been a lot more seriously injured than he was n ye laughed about it on your podcast, you’re a disgrace to journalism, a few tablets they found in the house and the money was out of the credit union, everything is hear say circumstantial crap, I’ll come on your podcast if you want n I’ll give you a story you’d love to hear ya clown ya, calling a man a drug dealer with no drug convictions, how can you say that??? Did you do your homework obviously not, listening to the hype which was bull shit, you have no idea what the guard’s have put my family through and I’d love to talk to you about it and get the right story out there, get in touch hope to hear from you, Keiths brother

Another friend of James and Timmy. Nearly as bad as that heroin dealing hairdresser that lied about completing rehab and slatted her ex that they had on last year. Helen's delighted to be "helping" the lad's out wherever she can. Toxic bunch of clowns.
